I somewhat admire the fanatical devotion of metal fans to their genre. Sometimes I get the impression they'd die for heavy metal.

There is this family that live down the street, they are always out the front... just hanging around out the front, being overweight, wearing their obscure black (the colour) shirts and thick glasses. When they are inside, they are inside with all the blinds open and lights on, and you can see them gaming with their headsets and shit.

The missus and I have labeled them the Nergans. They epitomise the bogan-nerd cross section.
