Bob Rock Productions huh Motley Crue, Bon Jovi n' Bryan Adams say hai lel

Enter Sandman is the most puerile piece of garbage I can think of on a satdee morn' it could almost be a wiggles song.
Gaf who produced it and what he's done in the past? It's an undeniably crisp and massive sound.

Good special on Rage this morning.

Going back to the days of live acts on Recovery with Dylan.

And as I speak the putrid stench of ****ing Powderfinger comes on.

If you watch it keep an eye out for The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion performance.

Totes amazeballs.

An immaculately produced album. Possibly the best production I've ever heard. It was also the first metal album I listened to. Some great tracks like Sad But True, The Unforgiven, God That Failed. Enter Sandman is good but is basically a pop song.

Just on that, and I'm a bit of an audiophile, I love these albums for production quality....

Tool - Aenema
Opeth - Ghost Reveries
Stuck Mojo -Declaration of a Headhunter

yeah the god that failed is probably my favourite from it. holier than thou and the struggle within too, really not a fan of the unforgiven sad but true nothing else matters etc. exit light, enter night... woah what is with that nursery rhyme, bloody dropped the ball there..

production is good but its way too good for the style of music, gave birth to the way overproduced, way too clean sounding metal sound.

prefer countdown to extinction to the black album, which is similar in the style of the time i guess.

Getting around to it now. I actually don't think I've given it a run on the headphones I picked up last year. PHWOAH.

Is that a different take I ain't listened to it for years.. bass is almost non-existent

Countdown is bloody awesome. I absolutely love the riff in the title track chorus. Sweating Bullets. Symphony of Destruction.

I reckon like TBA it's a bit hit and miss though. Psychotron? Lol. If you said they were trying to achieve the same thing, then I'd say TBA is far above Countdown. But Countdown is a very good album in its own right.

I like High Speed Dirt. Absolutely hate Sweating Bullets.

Linford Christie likes this. The most famous British Olympian a CONFIRMED drug cheat.

The sports that they suck the medals up on are all posh kids sports paid for with funding from taxing the poor through the national lottery. It's obscene.

Can't stand professional bands that have garage band sounding drums. ****ing post Joshua Tree U2 have better sounding drums than that and they sound like sticks clapping together. Even St Anger is... ok, too far.

I just love a big full powerful drum sound. That is one area The Black Album relishes in. Bob Rock understood this, from Bon Jovi to Motley Crue to the aforementioned, big ****ing drums.
