Huh? No. The Office was an english show, thats were "you're a c-ock, you're a c-ock, you're a c-ock" is from. The english version (which was the original) never made it big in Australia. It was on ABC for abit, but never stayed. The Australians (im sure it was australians) made a rip off based in Australia. It was the most un-funny show ever made.

dude, it was American and it sucked so very much compared to the British one (one of the best shows of all time IMO.)

I loved the British version, best show ever.

But I also find the American version to be a very good show in its own right. Although several of the characters are not as good, some are even better in the American version. Pam, the American Dawn, is a much much better character, and better acted.

It is just so common to hear people say "the American version sucks". When the idea of an American version was raised, people immediately said it woukd not be funny, Americans arent subtle enough, they are too stupid for that kind of humour.

Then the pilot was shown on Aus TV, it was a copy of the pilot for the British series. That was the only episode shown on Aus TV. I didnt like it either. But i gave the show another go, I downoaded more episodes and I loved them.

I challenge anyone here to tell me how many episodes they have watched before declaring it crap. JuddyIsKing comes on here with his whole "Office is the greatest, but Americans sucked at it" line. How common and cliched.
Sometimes I think people don't like the office because of its substance, they like the office because it is cool to like the office.

Its not cool to like american humour....so we wont even give it a chance.
