The Scott spray

Again I've read about the player's wanting Kelly to cop the first spray that is unleashed by Scotty. Any real reason for this bit of mischief, other than Kelly seemingly being the club clown and practical joker? Was there a bit of niggle between Scotty and Kelly from yesteryear that I've forgotten about?

For what's it's worty, Kelly wants it to be Lingy. I'm already guessing that a certain backman/winger unable to front up tomorrow may have already copped it.

There is also one other given at Geelong - captain Cameron Ling has revealed the widespread hope among the players that when Scott eventually loses his temper, Kelly will be the victim.

"Everyone is secretly hoping I cop the first spray, but I hope Lingy gets it for being too slow or something like that," said Kelly, one of the Cats' most popular players.


I think the players hope it's Kelly who gets the spray due to being perceived by his team-mates as being the 'coaches pet'.

To me it sounds like there enjoying there footy and having a bit of fun.Last year they had to deal with the Ablett sager, a premiership defense and a coach that really didn't give a shit.Good vibes coming out of Tiger Park at the moment.Yeah the bastard got me too.

I've read other players targeting Kelly for unfortunate events. Think he is the club clown - but one that is well liked so its all good.

Looking at photos from training it's very noticeable that the guys are smiling, laughing and in pretty good spirits. Loved the mobbing of Christensen after the goal - great stuff.
Interesting that we seem to be rejuvenated this year whilst the Saints seem to insipid and fatigued.

Yes they are human.. and sif u would believe me if i said i killed stevie j on cod.. and i have.. got his user tag from twitter and asked to play..even had a chat over headset.. my missus said i was like a kid in a candy store
