Honestly though, it's odd. At least they are not predictable, you would think a station like SEN would be full of 'Bazza's Building Supply's', 'Ralphy's Roofing', 'Cam's Carpentry'. Or other venues that involve parmas, pots, steaks, and gambling. Instead there is a lot of esoteric stuff like Funeral Houses, that condescending ad "you're a bloke" diamond guy, and ads that are dead weird like The Pancake Parlour, who even goes there?

Really? I've been once when I was in primary school for a birthday party many moons ago and it was average, for lack of a better word. Then it closed down and turned into a pub, that used to brag about parmas and pots...true story. And I assumed they were no more. Until I saw one on bourke street years later. They are owned, started or something to do with 'Seventh Day Adventists' aren't they.

there are a few across the suburbs including chadstone (warrigal rd), knox city westfield (ozone), the glen (kingsway) . i like the short stack with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup

Agree, same with Greg Denham. I don't agree with everything they say, but at least they are prepared to cut through the bullshit and call things for what they are.

He offers next to nothing, which means he fits the criteria of current SEN hosts.

But I agree, he has a voice that is kind of relaxed and relatable that I enjoy.

He's a fukwit, offers nothing. Goes after teams that are down, his obsession with Melbourne a few years ago was embarrassing. Came out with a bunch of crap about the Richmond board last year that was just that, crap. Hopefully they get rid of him and get someone with atleast half a brain.

I'm hoping Gaze gets the arse aswell, I don't see them removing Maher which would be great but Gaze is irritating. Consrtantly talks over people, starts shouting for no apparent reason. Takes 10 times the amount of time needed to get one of his ridiculous questions out. Just terrible.

Did anyone here Brent Guerra on MG this morning. For some reason I though he was a tossbag when he played footy but he seems like a decent bloke

I will defend Moons at least he has got a personality and he appears to be a likeable fella - unlike the drones that Channel 7 employ

Moons was best when he had just retired as he brought that recently retired player perspective to his comments, a bit like Nick Maxwell and now Nathan Grimer. However after a couple of years that evaporates (obviously) and unless by then you have shown that you have something else to offer in terms of comment and analysis you become irrelevant. Feel as though Moons is sliding into the latter category. FWIW I think he seems like a nice guy too and I also like his voice, from a female POV I actually find it kind of sexy

It was terrible the last few days having SEN have a collective sook that the NBL don't want him on the commentary team.

Maybe things would be different if the way he conducts the quiz didn't make him sound like a high school dropout. Also laughing as he's reading out that someone who was born on this day during that segment has passed away does him no favours, and it happens often.

I think Maher got cut up when the SMS machine seemed to hammer Gaze for reading the wrong year of Tom Hafey's death on that segment earlier in the year.
