Something I forgot to mention the other day. Finey had me in stitches other day about which supporters had suffered the most. "Hawthorn supporters telling me about the bad times. Don Scott held a Melbourne jumper for 15 minutes."

Scott Cooney took it to another level of banality with his endless Christmas songs this morning.Walking in a Winter Wonderland really defines the Australian Christmas experience,doesn't it Scott?!

I didn't mind it. I like Christmas songs, although Walking in a Winter Wonderland isn't technically a Christmas song (if you listen carefully there is no mention of Christmas). However some songs are making me hate them they are so overplayed (I'm looking at you Jingle Bell Rock ).

The Ox is one of the better ones IMO. He's not dumb either, he just plays the buffoon sometimes.

Lot's of stuff ups during this summer period. The other night when the news bulletins were on the weather was completely wrong. They kept saying that it was currently 35 and tomorrow's top was going to be 41 (this was in the middle of the night after we'd had the cool change). Then this morning the Science of Sport people had to start ten minutes early, presumably because someone had stuffed up the timing of the replayed JYB show.

The last ratings survey finally came out. Ha, the Morning Glory went up by 0.1 point. Other than that, there were moderate drops for everyone except Finey, who's been yo-yoing all year. Even Triple J out-rate SEN, with the exception of evenings.

There's something odd going on with one of the demographics: SEN went up from 1.9 to 5 among 10 to 17-year-olds!! Gimme a break . It looks like blokes were getting their kids to vote for SEN.

Jee, Dennis Walter and Tom Elliot are still rating ordinarily, by 3aw's standards. Hinch was rating heaps better before he got the arse. A "big gun" like 3aw wouldn't be happy with single figures. Maybe there's a changing landscape in afternoon radio, I dunno

You can buy whatever car you want. If you're going to buy a Porsche, you buy a 911. The quintessential Porsche. Preferably a mid70s early 90s model. Buying a cayenne? You're not really buying a Porsche. You're buying the badge.
