Just like your vehicle's service schedule, it's time for our seventh regular check in with how Itsmyshow is going. BigJoeD_ once described him as "a master of on-topic, subtle aggression", and unlike your vehicle he's an absolute Ferrari of the Sweet FA. At the last service this was the report:

Let's see what's happened to this beautiful machine in the past 50 games: First up, he's still a Hall of Fame Member, and still has that premiership and Deestroy medal from Season 23. Also still has the Fred Medal from Seaseon 20 and the 6 All SFA selections, so there's nothing new in that regard. Absolute classic; let's check the mileage:



The goals number is now 467, which is good for 5th overall. This is progress! Up two spots!
Tackles at 681, less good: down to 12th overall. He's been passed by spookism of all people.
Disposals comes in a 4929, which is 13th overall. Aww jeez, down four spots and this is not looking great.

So 349 games, that's good for... wait, no, this can't be right. 22nd overall?! Holy shit! IMS has been overtaken by six players over his last 50 games.

He is now a veritable new model compared to Dingster, who was quick to note his game time impact: "I went back in the Delorean to where IMS and I were team mates along with Mobbs playing for the Mod Squad. He was all about efficiency back then. He had one kick, one goal and one post that went something like...

Clearly the lack of begging has hindered IMS over his past 50. Perhaps this has aided him for a future assault on the league leaders lists? Maybe he's just moved on from debasing himself in the name of freshness. ant555 is so worn down over his 350+ game career, that his mental faculties are breaking down: "I am so old I can not recall. Welcome to the club IMS."

So it seems fitting for the player who is the all time leader in Mobbs Medal votes with 137 in total... wait, what?! He's equal third now? With pantsredacted? This isn't really working out how I'd planned. Let's just roll the Mobbs clip:

I've had quite a long history with ItsMyShow. IMS is one of the very, very few Sweet FA players to have gotten his start in another league! It was 13 years ago in the Regional Leagues forums where he was instrumental in ensuring the Western Wolves weren't very good, in a four team-district competition. From there he was recruited to the Mod Squad and henceforth joined the Roys where he immediately settled into a pseudo-leadership role, assisting Fred and myself in running the club as we hauled ourselves back to our feet.

After some heinous crimes in the Community Rooms, the man after whom our spamming award was named fell out of favour until tensions rose to such a point that he was sacked ceremoniously. Satisfying times. Off he went to ... somewhere else (Hawks?) where he began to amass further infamy transforming flogs into cutesypie topiaries.

Apparently, he's still here. I know this because I tag him sometimes and he tends to eventually respond. It's no surprise he's reached a masssive 350 games, he's a massive bloke!

Congratulations ItsMyShow. Nothing ever stayed the same with you, and everything stayed the same without you. Everybody else sucks. You've been a rock - inconspicuous, unremarkable and unresponsive. I forsee this will not end soon. I wish you many more games of "being vaguely still there"! Well done, and thanks for taking to this fun so readily and creatively!

But it is true, Itsmyshow is somewhat good, just slightly less good that 50 games ago. Like one half of his avatar IMS has found new life in an old place, and is back at the East Side Hawks and ready to murder a bunch of goodie-two-shoes wizards.

IMS was already a legend when I joined the League, and then I bought him over to the Warriors and he was fantastic fun, we had some good laughs. He wasn’t a particularly big poster but he was cutting and witty, and always qooty related so we loved him. My thread for his 300th game is still my fav media I’ve done.
He went quiet after a couple of seasons, but seems to have found some new enthusiasm at the Hawks which I’m glad of. He’s a good guy, a valuable poster and a League legend. I like him and respect him.

IDC has always been one of my favourites so have no hesitation in giving my congratulations on this significant milestone.

Oh, wait... it's for IMS? Yeah, he's ok too. Congratulations, but with less enthusiasm.

IMS is one of the SFA greats. Instrumental during the time period I’ll call the maturity of the competition, he has possessed a quick wit and a willingness to include others. He was a fantastic support for me at my time at East Side and thoroughly deserves recognition for his significant accolade this weekend. Well done mate, we’ve loved having the opportunity to play with and against you.

This thread made me cry with joy, cringe with embarrassment and want to punch pantsredacted in his stupid face!!! So, a success story.

I have always loved the Sweet FA and whilst I might have had a sabbatical the past few seasons, I always kinda just checked in. You guys have always been a second family and a great place to vent as a "character" and not have to take life so seriously.

Want to send out a huge thanks to the following people who have, in particular, been significant and amazing in my Sweet FA journey to date.

Mobbs - The man who introduced me to the game, and the man who I still consider to this day the greatest poster in the Sweet FA, not just because he created the joint, but he was a phenomenal lead into "what to do" as a Sweet FA contributor.

boncer34 - Giant flog of a human, but brilliant in the Sweet FA, the perfect mix of antagonistic and ego.

beez - Huge influence on the competition over a couple of seasons. At his peak was right up there with Mobbs as the best.

Farrand - Easily the most humorous contributor to the league I ever came across.

StFly - Along with Clay was just brilliant, made the glory days of this league what it was.

ShaunDuggan - Still holds the title of the greatest story in the history of the game with his "BettsMagic" storyline.

The Filth Wizard - In my later seasons prior to my hiatus, was phenomenal, and completely underrated in comparison to his spamming brother (Love you pants)

In some small way, all of you have played a starring role in making my experience in this competition and there are some of you not mentioned above (okeydoke7 Tarkyn_24 ClarkeM etc) who have been just as significant in my time, but played no less a role in making this place a great way to escape.
