Caught this by chance the other week and enjoyed it.

As good as The Shield is, it can see why it's not a ratings winner.

Good show. Like the main character & friends' attitude. V enjoyable.

My fave show is still Oz.

This brilliant cop show returns tonight and it will be interesting to see how they've spent the proceeds of their last robbery. The look on Mackie's face was priceless when he saw the money, until he realised they had to launder millions.

Excellent series.Good to see it on mid-week and not dumped in the late saturday night timeslot.

Love the moral ambiguities of the characters.

Julien is still in it.He got a bit of revenge on one of the cops at the end of last nights episode.

Bump. Superb episode last night. Was a bit twisted, but still one of the best episodes of a tv show i've seen in a long time. Glenn Close is doing a great job as the new chief. Great show.

It was good too see ch10 go straight into series 4 two weeks ago.

Glenn Close has been a good addition.I liked the line she said to Acevadas assistant - "So you're going too".

Acevada is one creepy cop.
He even did a "Brodie" while watching the rape tape.

Been shocked with how good Close is in the show and it was a great scene when she kicked Dutchboy out of the bathroom.
Great finish to the episode and was shocked to see Aceveda's reaction to the tape of the rape.The redneck cop was lucky to walk away and has already broken in his new partner in spectacular fashion.

Starting this Monday @ 9.30pm,Fox 8 are showing The Shield from the very start.Even better is that they're running it commercial free.

Damn I wish I still had cable. I stumbled across the Shield when it returned this year, and I've been hooked since.

Best show on television in a long time.

Glenn Close should stay on her toes because he keeps reasserting his power over her.If she goes one up on him in a power struggle he could snap.

The scene when the dumb cop shot that guy accidentally was a bit like a similar scene in Pulp Fiction.

I expected Vic to gun that redneck down last night as a way to help him out of his troubles.But I guess he only shoots the honest ones.

Another one of ch10s frigging stupid decisions.We get crap like Aussie Princess,Ronnie Johns,Merrick & Rosso,poxy movies nobody gives a crap about and 500th run repeats of The Simpsons,Everybody Wants To Punch Raymond and Law & Order : Elevator Unit,but we can't get one hour a week for a quality show like The Shield.

Ch10 can do like ch9 and ch7 and go and screwed.
