IMO, good for a bit of novelty and if you've time to kill but got very boring for me very quickly.

A good game - I only have the original - but I've downloaded a heap of add-ons for it. My neighbours at the moment include Chris Jericho, Kylie Minogue, Jeff Hardy and the Incredible Hulk!

Ive got the original...got it the day it came out! Played it intently for amonth and then the novelty wore off and the game became very boring. Started playing it again a few months back...lasted about 2 weeks before it got too boring again.

I love the sims. I have all the expansion packs - I couldn't help myself. Been playing it more or less constantly since last November (hubby bought me Delux for my birthday and got me hooked).

I love it, I got addicted from day 1. I've had it a few months and play it all the time when I am home.
The first one I got was the deluxe edition because it's the best value, I also have Hot Date. I really want to get House Party because it has heaps of cool things to buy. Unleashed looks good and so does Vacation.
It's heaps fun especially when you have the cheats.

If you register with the official Sims website you can download houses and items and programs (such as ones to make new wall papers etc) from them for free.
I love downloading items from all over the net though... makes it a lot more interesting with a wider variety of objects in your game.. even if it can make it a little slower to load.

Sims is ok if you have alot of time..my G/F loves it she has the sims/vacation/livinglarge/hotdate/houseparty and currently she's hasseling me to get her the latest one unleashed..so overall i think the sims stink but she loves them

I tend to make up people based on real people I don't like, and then kill them off to populate my graveyards - I love watching them come back to haunt me! (it helps when you have delux and can actually use a photo of them to make the face more realistic!)
