My missus dragged me along to see them in adelaide on Sunday - I have to Say they were very entertaining for bunch of old farts. I am 44 and i think i was the youngest there. It made me realise they had some great songs. Dont laff id much rahter see them than some untalented skank like ms spears.

"Give us a wink" was the first proper album I ever bought with paper round money when I was a nipper. I saw them in the late 80's and was looking forward to seeing them again in Sydney but they have cancelled these shows and only performing in SA and VIC

Glad to hear it went well. I was a big fan back in the day but I wasn't overly excited when I heard about this tour because as I understand it Andy Scott is the only member from the original band. That aside glad you had a good time.

I saw them in Gosford in 1985. They were 'reunioning' back then but they had mostly the original members including the singer, Brian somebody or other.

Two of the four members of the most popular line-up of The Sweet have passed away - Brian Connolly and Mick Tucker.

The other two - Andy Scott and Steve Priest - both have their own versions of the Sweet I believe.

Ballroom Blitz, Blockbuster, Fox On The Run and an excellent version of Peppermint Twist. Still love their songs.

I enjoy listening to The Sweet they never really took themselves seriously like some other glam rock bands.

Fox On The Run is the best of them.
