Fish for skippy or silver bream and you get the best of both worlds. My favourite spot is Parry's back beach in Denmark. You can also catch mulloway, shark and the occasional salmon.

Been near on 20 years since I went there last though. Doubt I'd recognise the place now

It has changed much. A few new suburbs with small blocks of land going up. Kind of defeats the purpose of country living but the place is still beautiful.

The shittest town but awesome bakery prize for me is Tom Price. The chilli beef pie brought a tear to my eye.

Albany is a nice place to holiday, but is way too conservative to live there for my liking.

Curtin is the only good uni in WA to study Geology at anyway (UWA only offers Earth Science )

BTW I agree that money (people work for it to live, gives the population a purpose and gives society a structure) is a good and necessary thing, however the systems that humanity has created are so unnecessarily complex, with so many loopholes that it's become broken (see GFC, 2008).

Unfortunately the money system is corrupt, and is suited to keeping that elite group on top of everyone else

Yep each Uni has their specialties, shame that UWA have moved into the American system, which forces people to do post grad for many courses $$$. These days for engineering I recommend people choose Curtin.

The scariest part is that the system is still broke, ben bernanke is a good read and you will see the forces that caused GFC are still in play. All that has changed is a couple of joke regulations lol, politians are not that hard to influence, throw enough $$$ at them.

Nothing wrong been average. In terms of wealth/money you don't need a formal education if you have business smarts/ work in a high growth sector.

Whilst education is a good, common sense/persistence is far more important to make a living in any job.

Wasn't blessed with the biggest brain so hard work and a good work ethic has worked for me.

Coral Trout is the nicest eating fish IMO. I wish I had caught one.

I once caught a turtle while fishing off Shark Bay. Had to release it obviously but was a massive surprise when it got hooked.
