Two eps in... thoughts?

Personally, I reckon he is killing it. He puts every other talk show host in the game today to shame.

Andy is wasted. To the couch.

Time for Triumph.

Feel free to express why Jimmy Fallon is shit in this thread too.

I don't know.. Right now he's got Steve Martin playing the banjo.....

Aha... Wild and Crazy Guy routine, hey?

What next, Chevy Chase? The Blues Brothers?

(Still, that would be pretty good).

Watching it now Filth. I had no idea he was taking Max Weinberg and the Max Weinberg 7 along for the ride :thumbsu:

Bloody rapt he's taken the whole show to LA, as opposed to just filling in for Jay.

You're right, he's kicking arse!!!!! The crowd can't get enough of him either. It's interesting watching "Mr New York" slot into the laid back West Coast vibe too.

A big thumbs up afaic :thumbsu:

The LEAST FUNNY person on tv has to be Jimmy Fallon, who's taken over Conan's show live out of New York. Scripted crap with poor delivery. A big :thumbsd:

A truer word has never been spoken. For the life of me I can't understand how NBC gave Fallon he's own show. He was mildly amusing at best on SNL- and that was down to his impersinations. He can hardly deliver a joke without laughing, and he seems to do this wierd bowling thing nearly every episode that I might have missed the point of.
I'd almost rather Paul Schaffer (band guy from Letterman) doing the show.

Loved seeing the all new "In the Year 3000" bit, especially with Andy's indignation that they never changed the routine years after Andy left, and they were too lazy to update it beyond the millenium.

Not hard to determine where the set/graphic designers came up with his new background glass

It was all contractual.

Fallon was signed to replace Conan when he left SNL, as NBC (read- Lorne Michaels) didn't want Fallon going to another network.

The same thing happened with the job Letterman left vacant, which Conan filled... Dana Carvey was signed, sealed and delivered after leaving SNL but personal fitness issues and illness kept him out.

Personally, I hope NBC make more of their current contract with Joel McHale, who is still on The Soup but has a sitcom deal with NBC (his new show started recently after the US remake of 'The IT Crowd' was considered shite).

Im very pleased with the new show. Just waiting for one of those magic Conan and Max eye contact moments. "Labamba! Get your head out of the way!"

I was worried he would be made to tone it down but he is killing it. The sound effects bit that he filmed was sensational. It is great to see Andy back.

Jimmy Fallon has been a disaster.

Hah, he addressed the Mario thing. Superb.

Of course he did.

He did it on last Fridays (USA) episode which preceded your post by two days. And considering your picture has the NBC watermark, I would say that Conan/NBC.com was your source, via seriouslunch.com.

Si, Conando!

Nice to see him bringing over so many bits from Late Night.

Reminds me a little of an absolutely hilarious bit he did when he hosted SNL a few years back... Moleculo, The Molecular Man.

Pisser.

Poor.

And oh so wrong.

In terms of my personal ranking of Late Night hosts, it'd have to go something like this

1) Jon Stewart
2) Stephen Colbert
3) Conan O'Brien
4) David Letterman
5) Jimmy Kimmel
6) Jay Leno
7) Jimmy Fallon.

Where are you watching Kimmel? I am surprised that Foxtel haven't jumped on him and Craig Ferguson as I hear good things.

Technically, Stewart and Colbert are not 'Late Night' hosts as their shows play in primetime in the States.

And technically, Fallon doesn't belong on any list (even if you are just being nice).

Kimmel online, like Conan and the rest of them.

And The Daily Show and The Colbert Report aren't prime time. Starts at 11pm on Comedy Central. Colbert on at 1130pm.

Apologies if so... the 8pm and 8.30 pm screenings must be repeats.
