How'd you guys rate it?

Absolutely terrible in my mind; forgetting which way it went; just the actual quality of the umpiring was a disgrace.

in your mind and everyone's it was shocking..

* Hilli's mark that wasnt paid after the defender knocked it clear

* Lucas push in the back last quarter not paid play on

* the cheap 50 for who knows what

* the direct free kick after we kicked the goal, i think bassett played for it

the 3rd quarter was by far the worst they kicked 3 goals directly after geting a free kick

How was Burtons head high hit on Slattery not a free, he'll probably get 3-4 weeks for it... But to be fair Hilles shot on goal in the first shouldn't have been a free either

Definitely should've been a free, no question what so ever.

Goodwin should've got one too.

Was just woeful all round.

Both clubs should get stuck into those 3 w***ers from last night, talk about not having a ____ing clue about how this game is played, could be the worst umpired game I have seen.

and when chris knights i think it was in the middle was swung around on a 360 angle and then dropped the ball!

Shocking umpiring both ways. In the end i lost count of how many free kicks they missed for both sides.
Thought it was close to the worst all round umpiring performance i have seen.
WTF has happened to the holding the bal rule ????? They are red hot on penalising players attacking the footy in packs yet when you get caught in a good tackle standing up you can now just drop the ball most of the time.
Their interpretation of incidental conact forcing the ball loose in the tackle is absolutley shocking and serious questions need to be asked!!!!

Got the best of it? WTF does that mean. We got the worst of it by far. Having said that BOTH sides got harshly done by and Adelaide did deserve the win. Still, such a frustrating game for all viewers when the umpiring was as poor as that. Disgraceful.

Yeah that one stood out for me... But also the deliberate against Bock was a joke, the head high free Goody didnt get, the soft first goal Hille got from a free...... Both sides were hurt

It was deliberate. He had no other intention whatsoever.

The umpiring was equally bad, I thought, and can't be an excuse for either team.

Didn't he get paid the free kick, only that it was paid very late?? I thought it came back to him? (I was going a bit nuts at the time, so not sure)

Burton will get at least 2 weeks.

Umpiring was disgraceful. Both ways.

He kicked it 40 metres and the ball took a right angle after bouncing. Hardly deliberate;) Watch the reply and look at it without biased. You will see

There was no Adelaide player anywhere near where he was kicking. I can see both sides of the argument, and it was really line ball, but I thought it was deliberate. I tend to be a bit harsh on players when it comes to deliberate, but I thought that was a correct decision.

Not to, erm, give anything to the umpires last night.

The thing is, whether it was or wasn't deliberate, why did they suddenly decide to give it last night, when in the previous 9 rounds it hasn't been called as deliberate?

That's the thing that we all hate most about umpiring.

Another example: marks which are spilled after about 4 seconds (can't think of an example of the top of my head). It's probably not a mark, but then 5 minutes later, they pay a mark where there is hardly any control at all.

That's one thing that soccer/football has over footy: consistency of umpiring/refereeing.
