Haha so many people starting a bunch of rookies this week, while this is the first week since round 1 I have been almost 100% happy with my full squad. If only Raines was playing....

Same, just got Peter Burgoyne on the pine. Still got Suban, Hill, Petrenko. Too many choices on which two to start! :o

Im having a vent about not knowing what rookies to start this round, because in typical DT fashion, which ever one you start will be the one that does the worst.

your brave, choosing ROK after his pretty average start

i've got ROK.
Hall & O'Loughlin out of the team is forcing him to play KP.
and he's not racking up his normal midfield numbers.
how did i not see this coming

Fire up Jack Riewoldt! You were meant to be an improver this year, a decent mid-pricer who I could eventually upgrade. Yet you've actually gone down in value (by like $13,000), and Taylor Walker (who I also have) is almost averaging the same score as you, yet he came $170,000 cheaper at the start.

Those with Simmonds...what do you think you'll do with him? Hold off a week and use bench to cover? This way, you can take a wait and see approach on whether he'll be selected next week - if he is ommitted again, then Hille won't rise in price this week because of his big break-even and could sideways to him next week.

The other option is to jump on the HMac bandwagon this week before his price rises again....

ah....theres nothing wrong with having the BF rookies? Especially when they are the best in that position?

Acutally, he should of picked greenwood and quinn to be unique...

I was just saying, its nothing to be gloating about. Petrenko was purely a lucky selection, all the talk was that he wouldnt play past R1, but due to injuries around him he has kept his spot.

If he hadnt gotten injured, Hurley would have been the best rookie back to have. Probably the most secure job-wise, and looked a very polished player - something you can really say about Hill (and to a lesser extent, Suban).

That is absolute crap. Petrenko was always going to get a chance. "All the talk" by who?

Exactly.

I agree, tbh I really didn't think I was gloating though. I didn't start with Petrenko anyway, it was all the injuries that made me get him in before his price rise.

Birchall
Raines
Knights
Hentschel
Skipworth
Tuck (back this week)

get the f*** back

Started with the plan of conserving trades, my lack of activity has been smashed by injuries every single week. 98th in rd 1..and now have no idea how to get back. Looking at Skippy>Krakeour but its gonna take alot of self convincing to click that button. gotta love DT.

Didnt think he was gloating personally?

Petrenko was purely a lucky selection, all the talk was that he wouldnt play past R1, but due to injuries around him he has kept his spot.

He wasnt a lucky selection. He was the best option if you had 3 rookies in the backs. He was in an adelaide team that was always going to blood youth, he'd had a good preseason, and only had to play well to keep his spot.

If he hadnt gotten injured, Hurley would have been the best rookie back to have. Probably the most secure job-wise, and looked a very polished player - something you can really say about Hill (and to a lesser extent, Suban).

But hurley DID get injured, thus petrenko has, thus far, been a good pickup. Hurley has been a KP player for most of his life, and the stats show that their scoring generally isnt that great. While yes,he has had good numbers in his junior years, AFL is a whole new ball game - also, i might be wrong, but i think hurley's mature body in the junior games probably helped him get the ball a bit more than i would expect at AFL level. And you can hardley bag hill and suban - both good players, both in a team where they are bound to get games = both good selections.

What a load of BS. Petrenko is not a 'lucky' selection, I picked him on the basis of his NAB games where it was clear to anyone watching that he was a very good player, and N. Craig liked him from the outset.

That theory that he is only in the side because of other injuries is crap because this week they dropped Symes and he is still in the squad. He is a good player and probably the best Backline rookie pick IMO.

i am so annoyed at dr dreamteam from the AFL, see if you can pick up the mistake

Hi Doc. My team is doing quite well (top 300 overall) but I have some under-performing, highly-priced players. My main concern is Daniel Giansiracusa (as well as Selwood, Enright and Didak). After 129 in round one, Gia is averaging 66 over the last 3 weeks and has cost me nearly $50k. Should I trade him? – Brett (17 trades, $14,000)

I doff my peak to you, Brett. You must have some real warhorses holding up that underperforming quartet.

Gia's round four flop of 51 is going to haunt you for the next two weeks with the rolling pricing system, so there's more pain on the way. But loyalty is integral in Dream Team and it's called for here. Gia's a proven DT player.

Although his return to Subiaco, the site of his round one 129, didn’t turn his season around, I'm sure it's not far away. A bail-out option if you can't back the Bulldog is Geelong's Andrew Mackie, who is down $52,700 to $350,800.

hes so stupid, y do they pay that idiot
