Umpiring was fine in terms of paying the frees that were there. It's the rules that make those frees technically correct that are the problem.

Inconclusive report. I reckon my belly button is trying to knit it's own jumper (hopefully the 2001 version). Though I did find Dr Karl's choice of words "snail trail" interesting.
Your bum seems to talk more sense than your brain. So i get more likes, when i pocket dial my response than i do when i try and make a considered post.
Fair enough.![]()
I'd be fine with that, even if we won the spoon.Reminds me of round one, 1998..... and we all know how that year finished

Can you imagine what would happen to a player these days who approached an umpire fists raised in a threatening manner while mouthing off at them (reg BT video from before) - would that get you on report or just a 200m penalty or ... ?

i guess it may be worth it, i guessI'd be fine with that, even if we won the spoon.
In 3 years we'll win a premiership then go back to back to back.

It's sad but true, also considering we had such a good turnout again from our vic supporters. As an old Roy Boy who gets to as many games as possible...well let's just say there's no rush to go to the next game. Yes I was there ...til the end!
And with only 4 games in Melbourne this year there was never a rush to sign up(you can stick your Geelong games up your clacker) & you have no hope now
Well apparently the loss was due to poor training, whether that was due to being tired from travelling every god damned week or just being complacent I don't know but we'd better train well this week or there will be trouble come sat'day
Brown mentioned on the channel 9 footy show Sunday morning that training was flat on Monday and Wednesday. Is there any link of someone from the team mentioning that training was poor in the past week? Second time i've seen it mentioned now. I wouldn't count on it being turned around in one week, looks like every area of our game needs to be worked on.
