wtf
Went to the concert last night at Vodaphone arena. Excellent show, played all the classics (except Magic Bus and Miles and Miles) and You Am I were worthy in support.

Zach Starkey was excellent, but not really allowed to take the spotlight from Pete and Rog.

And I've never seen so many big beardy men in one stadium.

Encore songs ?

Opener ?

Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Opening song was Can't Explain: encore was a Tommy medley. My Generation into Won't Get Fooled Again was the highlight for me. Much more enjoyable show than I thought it would be.

Fantastic show - quite an intimate and optimistic night. The theme was - we've ( the band AND the audience ) actually survived - the kids ( our kids ) are alright .. even tho' we lost our way somewhat ( only human ) - and thanks for sticking with us. And cop a few power chords. Townshend was absolutely superb - he should do an acoustic reworking of his stuff - and again you were reminded of his exceptional song writing and sonic rhythms. He did invent some of this rock 'n roll guitar stuff and the delivery was exciting and in no way cliched.

Highlight - Behind Blue Eyes ( my kids knew that one ! ), acoustic 'Drowned' and the whole encore ( had a Live at Leeds feel) with Underture etc. Inspirational.

The 20 something guy next to us was all "they do it too?". My Dad nearly clocked him one...

Great concert.

i thought that limp bizkit were a bit odd singing BBE. I love my rock and roll and consider myself a bit of a who fan but i didnt even know that!

CSI Miami theme

And the reason what initially attracted me to watching CSI Miami was the theme...Won't Get Fooled Again !

I realise CSI has 'WHO ARE YOU ' but that takes a backseat to CSI Miami.... don't think it's the music afterall. ;)

'The Who' are the quintessential rock band. Everything about them is pure rock and roll. If I could come back as a member of any band, I would come back a member of 'The Who' (specifically, Keith Moon).

I hope my family will remember to play 'The Rock' at my funeral.

Quadrophenia is by favourite Who album by a mile. Absolute continuous masterpiece. Who's Next, Who By Numbers and Face Dances are favourites of mine. Never could get into Tommy though. Endless Wire wasn't bad but I hope Pete and Roger don't put out any more albums under "The Who" moniker.

No arguments from me. Just remember to stop at 1978. Nothing against Kenney Jones, but it wasn't the same band without Moon.

I'm probably one of the few who doled out the cash to Pete Townshed for a copy of his Lifehouse Chronicles box set, but that thing is an absolute monster and a fantastic listen.

Same here. Fastest delivery from overseas I've ever had. 3 days from ordering to arriving here. It did the entire rounds of where I was working - even non-fans were telling me how great it is.

It might be blashpemy, but there might not be anything better than the full orchestral version of 'Baba O'Riley' in the whole Who-related catalogue.

That radio play is insanely well done as well.

Live at Leeds is still the greatest Live album ever and my favourite Who album, captures them at their absolute peak. Quadrophenia isn't too far behind though, still an album that resonates with the angry youth inside of me.

Who's Next. Won't Get Fooled Again needs to be heard straight after Behind Blue Eyes (IMO). I love listening to those two songs one after the other.

I almost never take issue with cover versions of songs, but I could strangle Limp Bizkit.
