You don't need to install towny and iconomy.

From the tower, jump into the water. For some reason it gets upset about the spawn being inside a room...

Anyone else getting errors logging in?

Blah - this is getting weird.

Towny requires an economy plugin which requires a shop plugin and they all prefer a permissions plugin but some versions of some permissions plugins don't work with some of the other plugins and they all have a ton of individual permissions settings.

Can't wait until all of this is rolled into MC with a GUI...

I've taken a backup of the map and I'm installing:

Lockette
Permission
Towny

in addition to Worldedit and Worldguard.

Let's see what explodes...
 
Stumbling through all of this.

Towny has two default config pages which don't match and the actual config file is blank anyway.

Other parts of the wiki talk about section of the config.yml which don't even exist.
 
This sort of thing just looks dangerous:

So messing around with town plots means you might lose your gear. Have to check these ID's to see what should be in there. Thinks it's doors and switches mainly.


Economy... I think tax at $5 per plot (16x16 block) per day is a good start. So you have to think before you grab your maximum allowance of plots.

If you head directly through the zone marked "City" near the coast is someones high-rise building surrounded by flame. Just past that near the river is my Obelisk and Bridge of Fire (both still in construction).

A stadium would be an awesome idea!
 
So anyway, exploring the server and lookie what I found.
