  • Welcome to a town on the brink of chaos, where trust is a scarce commodity, and danger lurks in every shadow. The peaceful days are over. As night falls, the small community finds itself caught in a deadly power struggle among the Militia and the Army with the Civilians just trying to survive. But there is a horrifying new threat.

In a war-torn town scarred by mistrust and fear, the Civilians try to survive amidst rival factions of the Militia and the Army. But survival takes a darker turn with reports of an infected individual reanimating into a ravenous Zombie. The rumors are true—this isn’t just a battle for control; it’s a fight for humanity itself.

The sun is setting, and the clock is ticking. Will you emerge victorious—or join the ranks of the undead.

Good luck - you'll need it.

  • The town wakes to grim news - three people were found dead. This wasn't the work of the unnatural. These died from human hands.

dank420_ (Villager) killed by the Serial Killer
Dingster (Mayor) killed by the Army
CursingFijian (Bus driver) killed by the Militia

The undead are growing in number, Patient Zero infected 2 players.

The survivors gather in the town square, where accusations begin to fly. Trust is eroding quickly, and the factions—Militia, Army, and Civilians - know that alliances might be their only hope.

But who can you trust when even the dead are walking?

  • Desperation fuels the town as they resolve to uncover the identity of the Zombies before it’s too late. With three villagers already lost and the undead threat growing stronger, everyone is on edge. The air is thick with paranoia as friends, neighbors, and strangers alike turn suspicious eyes on one another.

The sun is setting, and time is running out. As the townsfolk reconvene, armed with their discoveries, the debate begins. Each person argues for their suspicions, begging others to trust their instincts.

    • Will the town make the right call and expose a Zombie in their midst?
    • Or will the undead use the chaos to their advantage, turning suspicion back on the living?
After spending the day trying to work out what clues the zombies would leave the village settled on lynching. The Lieutenant had suggested himself for most of the day but a last minute switch left 2 villagers dead.

    dogs105 (villager) lynched
    eth-dog (villager) lynched

The village now realised that they have thinned their ranks significantly and the zombies will be out tonight feeding on brains.

    It is now Night 2.

    N2 Deaths
  • The town erupts into chaos as the factions spiral into mistrust and desperation. Shadows grow long as the streets become battlegrounds, alliances fray, and accusations turn into open violence. Amid the turmoil, the Zombies strike again, claiming more victims. Blood spills freely—too much, it seems, for hope to survive.

But just when despair threatens to consume everyone, a breakthrough changes the tide: a Zombie is revealed and destroyed.

The night leaves scars on everyone:
    • The Civilians are rattled, their numbers dwindling, but they cling to their humanity, when will the flogs step up?
    • The Militia flex their muscle, but their aggressive tactics sow seeds of mistrust.
    • The Army holds the line but suffers heavy losses. With resources stretched thin, their resolve is tested as whispers of betrayal swirl. Why wasn't LT protected?
The Town Drunk had had enough, they took aim at a monster (or was it human, they couldn't tell). They pulled the trigger and the beast fell. A job well done. The town drunk went off to bed. Whilst the Captain had been slain the 2nd Lieutenant was lining up someone they knew weren't with the army. As the armies killer, he had just seen them taking out something. This killer needed to die. He took the shot and assuredly hit the target, the JOAT was no more. Who had the JOAT hit? It turns out it was the best shot for humanity as she was the only person to kill a zombie so far. It brought about her demise, but she felt a sense of pride that she'd shown humanity had a chance.
Whilst the Captain and 2LT were out the Lieutenant rested at home. He'd fooled the town today, but not the serial killer. It was a quick death.
The militia took their chance too, they lined up the Doc, they wouldn't need Big Pharma in their future.

    BEaston (Doc) killed by Militia

    There are now 4 zombies.

  • The town gathers in the square, their voices raised in heated arguments. Accusations fly, suspicions grow, and paranoia takes hold. But as the votes are tallied, it’s clear: the town is deeply divided. No consensus emerges, and the outcome remains shrouded in uncertainty.

Some cry foul, others claim sabotage, but one thing is clear—this fractured decision plays directly into the Zombies' hands.

In the end there was a flurry (well a flutter) of late vote changes. Including some strange ones - certainly 1 that wasn't expected.

In the end the lynch settle on TheGoatBaron (villager) lynched day 2.

    MODNOTE

We are going to move to compulsory voting from tomorrow. Failing to vote in any day phase will be a modkill (I'm trying to get one for DP).

    N3 (lack of) Deaths
  • For the first time in what feels like an eternity, the dawn breaks with no new cries of anguish, no fresh blood soaking the streets, and no additional faces missing from the town. The night has passed without death—a rare and precious reprieve amidst the chaos.

At first, the silence feels unnerving. The villagers gather hesitantly in the square, expecting grim news. But as they look around, they realise something miraculous: no one has fallen. Cheers erupt, but they are tinged with nervous laughter.

Could the Zombies be regrouping? Or have the town's efforts finally begun to turn the tide?

For now, there is a flicker of hope. The town has proven it can survive the night. But how long will their luck hold?

The sun rises, but the shadows are never far behind.

It is now day. A reminder voting is compulsory and failing to vote will be a modkill.

The fragile balance of the town is upended when it is discovered that one of the Zombies has broken the rules. In this dire game of survival, order is paramount, and any deviation—intentional or not—threatens the delicate trust that holds the factions together.

After a swift and decisive deliberation, the rule-breaking Zombie is punished with a modkill, their role forcibly revealed and eliminated from the game.

With one Zombie gone, the survivors have gained ground, but the night looms large, and the remaining undead won’t make the same mistake twice. The stakes are higher than ever, and the town must prepare for what comes next.

Justice has been served, but the battle for survival continues.

Raz modkilled for breaking zombie posting rules.

  • The town rises in defiance, emboldened by their recent successes. Armed with clues and alliances forged in fire, they move to strike at the heart of the undead menace. The villagers boldly accuse not one but two of the remaining that they are Zombies, casting their votes with determination.

    IMG_7478.jpeg

However, while one Zombie is cornered and destroyed, the other accused slips away, vanishing into the night like a shadow. The bittersweet victory leaves the town on edge—celebrating progress yet haunted by the one that got away. Will the accused be a hunted at night? Can they be? Were they even a zombie?

Cadsky (Villager, role) was lynched Day 3.

It is now night! A reminder voting is compulsory and failing to vote will be a modkill.

  • UNDEADLINE
As the night deepens and the shadows stretch long, the Militia takes up arms to pursue the escaped Zombie. Fueled by anger and a determination to protect their dwindling town, they form a hunting party, their torches casting flickering light on the twisted paths leading out of the village.

The Zombie, cornered at last in a clearing near the forest's edge, turns to face the Militia. Its pale, decaying face twists into a grotesque snarl, and with an ear-piercing screech, it lunges at the nearest militia.

It's too late for the Zombie. The militia strike a double tap.

boncer34 (Zombie, Serial Killer) killed by Militia.

  • With the Zombie threat reduced to one and victory nearly assured, the Militia, emboldened by their growing dominance, hatches a bold and dangerous plan. Confident in the Militia's strength, they approach the Army with a sinister proposal:
"Join us to root out the weak links among the civilians. Together, we can ensure this town’s future is strong, disciplined, and secure."

"They see strength as a reason to dominate," the Army say. "We fight for everyone, not just the powerful. If they come for the civilians, they’ll have to go through us."

In the end the lynch settle on the Psychopath, happily removing them from the game.

    Itsmyshow (Psychopath) lynched D4.

Ocha905 (Leader) modkilled for a piss poor game, with 2 posts in 4 days. Thanks and goodbye.

The Militia’s collapse leaves a gaping power vacuum in the town. Their ill-fated attempt to seize control and their betrayal of the townsfolk end in ruin, their leaders didn't even bother to turn up. The remaining member had one last hurrah, they would finally be able to take out the flogs who had been tormenting them. He took a decisive blow and felled the flog.
Feeling a sense of achievement, the remaining militia strode off defiantly. They didn't notice the Army lurking for their chance. One clean shot and the militia were gone killed by the Army. But the threat that united the town, the Zombies, remains. One has become two again.

The fragile balance of power in the town collapses entirely when Major, second-in-command of the Army, is lynched by an angry mob of civilians. What begins as a tense confrontation over the Army’s strict control and perceived failures spirals into violence, marking a turning point in the town's descent into chaos.

    Game end
  • GAME UNDEADLINE

What began as a hopeful effort to eradicate the last Zombies turns into a nightmare. A single misstep by the Army had allowed the undead threat to grow unchecked, and the town’s fragile defence crumble. The Zombies multiply rapidly, and in the end, the undead claim total victory.

The Army’s meticulously planned ambush was meant to end the nightmare. The Major had given the order to fire as the last Zombie enters the kill zone. But the shot missed, was it even the right target?

The town barely has time to regroup before disaster strikes. Unbeknownst to the townsfolk, but known to the Army, a second villager has already been infected. After lynching the Major for his tactical blunder it was left to the Colonel to strike the last chance blow for humanity.
As night fell, that meant there could be 4 zombies in the morning and the end of humanity.

By the time the sun rises, the town is lost:

    • The once-organized Army and resilient civilians have been reduced to a chaotic, bloodied mess.
    • The Zombies now outnumber the living, their moans echoing through the empty streets.
The town, once a symbol of survival and resistance, becomes a haven for the undead. Fires burn unchecked, casting eerie shadows over the carnage. The silence of death settles over the ruins, broken only by the shuffling of the newly turned.

In the end, the Colonel's shot hit a flog which becomes the defining moment of their failure. The Zombies' victory is complete, and the town is left as a grim warning:

When unity fails and fear reigns, the undead will rise to claim the living.

Pie 4 Life (flog) killed by Army.

With that death and the growth of Zombies overnight, the Undead win.

Congratulations Gralin MKMatty and the recently infected manangatang for taking the Undead to victory.
