Duvall and Nicholson were required to perform the baseball bat scene 127 times, breaking the world record for the most retakes of a single scene with spoken dialogue.

But he wanted it darker and more butal action .
He rewrote the it....hence the cobra poster in Bec hills cop 2.

The mask was ment to a horror movie..the new Freddie.
