tl;dr: got royally screwed by used car dealer

Headlights were shite, were to be replaced with good used units. One of many items on the list.

Headlights now yellow and going opaque, we're going away, need restoring. Buy kit. Acknowledge I'll probably be doing a bit of sanding before getting into the kit.

Discover today the headlights hadn't been changed (a mark I'd made before buying the car was still there) and all they'd done was spray a thick coating of clear lacquer over them. That now has to come off. 400 grit wet'n'dry didn't even make a dent in it. 240 grit in a detail sander has knocked it back pretty much, but there's no way I'm hand rubbing 7 grades of wet'n'dry before polishing.

Off to Super Cheap in the morning.

People keep acting like this is a new phenomenon but it's been happening for a long time, like as long as I can remember

Maybe I'm noticing it more for one reason or another but at least post Covid I've noticed people giving less of a shit about a lot of things. I've pointed this out about my gym and how there's a very poor culture of people not respecting other gym users, leaving weights on machines, 2.5kg weights buried behind 25kg weights (Literally every single session I go to). At work, people will leave the coffee machine without emptying the tray. I've seen people start the machine, then pack it up and hand make a coffee to avoid cleaning the tray.

WE have pallet wrappers at work that people will switch off before the end of a shift and use the second machine so they can get out of doing a change on the first one. Then you rock up and you've got to change two rolls.

I wanted something bigger than normal kitty litter box because Cosmo to long for normal size box.I get to checkout you know this got a lid right? NO I didn't check sorry can someone go and get me one NO .Ok dont bother I should of checked i just wanted to get out they so many working tho.

I've been on the hill at AO and always taken my rubbish with me and found a bin. I'm sure 50% of people do but it's the other 50% that don't I guess.

I'm sure there are a lot of factors. Perhaps I'm becoming more aware of it. When I did BJJ if there was a good leadership there then there would be a lot of respect and provide a great culture. One of the best places had incredible respect across the board, another not so much.
