From 3-7...we have won 3 out of our last 4 including a win in Perth. Alot of people thought we would only win 2, mayeb even 1.

Only disappointing thing was the margin against the Crows, but we have won 3 from our last 4 and that is better than we expected.

This is almost delusional! We have beaten 3 dud sides and got flogged by the probable premiers this year. The last month has proven nothing except that we are at best a 7 -11 side. We could make the finals if we get lucky and play ok, but given that we have beaten no-one in the top 6 this year it is unlikely we will get any further than the first week of the finals (if we make it). I really find all this false optimism something to behold. But believe what you want, it's your delusion.

I agree. While it is great that we have won 3 out of 4 or whatever it is we still need to put it in perspective and Adelaide did that quite nicely for us last week. We are no where near a top 4 quality side this seaon (gosh that hurts to say that!).

Chappy boy I think you need to think long and hard about the teams we have won against and the teams we have got thrashed against. Put it into some perspective mate.

The only thing I learnt suffering through that 5hite is that an unfunny git whose movies are all about thumping people can still be classed as a movie star.

Back on the the matter at hand..this season has got '9th' written all over it. But as chappy has intimated..while there is life there is hope!

Only thing I took from the victory over Carlton is we don't suck as much as they do this year, harsh but true IMO. Until I see this side actually turn up against the top sides, I'll be realistic about it.

While I understand the general sentiment in this thread, in defence of cm35, all he said was that 4 weeks ago we would have taken 3 from 4. We've achieved it so should take something out of it.

I agree that they were rubbish teams, but you can only beat who you play. Let's just wait and see what happens. If we don't stand up over the next 8 weeks, I'll be right there with you getting stuck in!

If only we had come within 30 odd points of Adelaide i would be pleased right now, next week will be a big match as Port are vying for the same spot we are (8th)...i believe it will be a very tight finish to the season for about 4 teams, it is a must win next week as Port are going for that elusive spot.

Btw- yesterday's scoreline was very reminiscent of last time we played Carlton, i was hoping they got a couple of points instead of that last goal by fev..

3 of 4 wins is good any time of the year and i think Chapmanmagic is correct. None of us would have beleived we would be in this position.
