Surely that is not an objective view. Welsh yes. Perrie??? certainly not an ecellent 3rd forward. Gill >> Perrie for mine. No room for Perrie anymore.
so we have established that people like Gill over Perrie
so what happens when Gill gets injured (like history will show he has a fair chance of doing)

Among the individuals who have kicked more than 30 goals so far in 2007, Scott Welsh is Adelaide’s most accurate shot at goal and also ranks third among AFL forwards. He has kicked 37.10 from set shots – a 78.7% success rate – and booted a total of 43.17 (71.7%).
The only regular forwards with better set shot conversion rates are Carlton’s Brad Fisher (28.7, 80 per cent) and Port’s Daniel Motlop (19.5, 79.2%). Fisher has the best overall conversion rate in this group (75%), ahead of Motlop (73.9%), Michael O’Loughlin (72.1%) and Welsh (71.7%).
But the player with the best radar in the competition is Geelong midfielder Cameron Ling, who has kicked 14.0 from set shots among his scoring total of 25.4 (86.2%).
For Adelaide, Scott Stevens has bagged 10.1 from set shots in his total of 15.3 and Ken McGregor’s total of 14.2 (87.5%) is the best overall conversion rate.
The conversion rates of the competition’s leading goalkickers are: Brisbane’s Jonathon Brown 69.35 (66.3%), Matthew Pavlich 65.41 (61.3%), Lance Franklin 60.45 (57.1%), Brendon Fevola 59.41 (59%), Matthew Lloyd 57.26 (68.7%) and Brad Johnson 54.25 (68.4%).
