i meant saying your boys tanked aka loosing on purpose was a lie because many other teams are much better then your boys.

This is a prime example of the rule we have where it says that we can not interpret intent or error, only the written word. Say it one way and it is okay, say it the other way and it is poor.

Round 1 2007. Richmond up by 27pts in 3rd q, lost by 17 v Carlton.
Round 2 2007. Richmond ahead in 4th q, lost by 16 v Sydney.
Round 3 2007. Richmond up by 22pts half time, lost by 25 v Collingwood.
Round 5 2007. Richmond up by 21pts in 2nd q, lost by 23 v WCE.
Round 6 2007. Richmond lose by 157pts. Who does that in this day and age?
Round 8 2007. Richmond trail by 30pts, level scores in last before losing by 9pts v Adelaide.
Round 9 2007. Richmond up by 18pts, 17mins into last q, lose by 8 v Essendon.
Round 11 2007. Richmond up by 13pts half time, lost by 21 v Freo.

Obvious that Terry Wallet knew Jordan McMahon would be available, and tanked for the extra pick so they could afford to get him.

Earlier today Roomies, .... I saw a very uncharitable title calling the Carlton club scum and I felt it was undignified.

I found myself reading and eventually replying twice about Chris Judd joining your team. My issue was over the money involved and nothing else, ... but there is a lot of speculation and barbs being directed at the Carlton club in any case.

I like to think of myself as fair minded. ..... I don't subscribe to the notion your club tanked anything in 2007. … … I agree with some of your honest contributors in this topic and say no ... your boys where not good enough this season, … … but they have shown us all they’re signs of improvement not to far away.

… … That's not tanking it.

.... All due respect for Paul Roos, ... I think he has it wrong in my humble opinion, … and I'll quote my self from the other forum: >>>>>>>>>

Carlton isn't my club, but it was one of the clubs I saw the very 1st time I went to a game in 1983. I was a NRL follow before then, and was converted at once. …. The other team was Essendon and as the mate that took me followed Carlton, … as you do with a mate, … I barracked for Essendon. … … It is Essendon that I’ve followed ever since that day in 1983.

…. … I also took my boys to watch Carlton play Fremantle in the game that they stopped your 17 game winning streak. ….. I’ve got to say I’ve enjoy watching your club for years. … I respect what Carlton sands for and don't believe your board would condone tanking, ... let alone see the 1st string of players all collude to achieve that result.

Go easy on yourselves, forget the rubbish, .... and play for a flag over the next 3 years and restore your honour and put aside the infighting along the way.
