THIS WEEKS TEAM
What Im hoping for but Dont think ill get
B. Tuck Zantuck Gaspar
HB. Newman Shultz Hartigan
C. Tivendale Coughlan Roach
HF. Brown Morrison Hall
F. Fiora Ottens Campbell
R. Marsh Johnson Krakouer
INT. Kellaway Rodan Chaffey Gilmour.
EMERG. Bowden Pettifer Fletcher
Give Zantuck the number 1 forward, Shultz the number 2 and Gaspar the number 3, hopefully he will regain some confidence that way. Newman, Hartigan and Tuck provide the run and versatility to the backline.
Tivendale, Coughlan, Roach, Johnson and Krakouer to spend 95% of the time in the midfield, with instruction to run hard, play hard and kick long, no interchange unless injured and swap with the likes of Brown, Campbell, Rodan, Chaffey and new boy Gilmour if need be. No defensive midfielder this week despite the talent we are facing, the only way we are going to get that confidence back is to be attacking 100% of the time. Marsh to start in the ruck with the instruction to just give a contest and if possible, smash the ball forward at all costs.
Brown, Campbell, Fiora to be the forward line floaters, try and keep the ball in the forward line, leave the room for Ottens to contest and mark the ball. Morrison and hall to play a dual CHF with Morrison instructed to not get out of the corridor and Hall to Roam the wings for the long leads. This gives us more structure.
Kellaway, Chaffey and Rodan give us talent on the bench and plenty of Reserve with new boy Gilmour getting his chance and should be eased into the fray.
Alex Gilmour and Shane Tuck give fans some optimism to go to the game.
