There you go, another master move by CC and the ******ed selection committee. How the ******** did Gilmore managed to get dropped? Amazing.

Good to see Peake get a run :)

And as for Gilmore, I actually like that move because despite he was semi-decent against Sydney he did make a heap of mistakes and clangers and turnovers in the first half. Needs to regather himself in the WAFL in my opinion.

Hopefully we'll be able to regather ourselves and attempt to get our season back on track!

I'm happy for Peake, definitely.

The major problem I've got, is that Thornton has played a couple of awful games, while Gilly comes in and plays at worst, a semi-decent game. Who should be dropped? Not Gilly.

Then there is Dylan Smith as well.

No point in complaining I guess. Just have to wait and see what Sunday brings.

Gilmore had to be close to being in the top 5 players (i think i gave him a vote) if not top 10.

Unless we dropped 12 players, why did he get dropped. He better be injured.

Bloody unbelievable. Thornton should be dropped for not showing any interest at all (bar 1 good dash through the middle) rather than Gilmore who actually seemed like he wanted his spot.

Overdue IMO as we have been exposed for lack of pace without Walker & Hayden.

Thornton has been off the boil, but probably did well enough last week to save his spot.

Happy is probably a bit stiff but we are going to have to get used to players being a bit stiff now we have some depth.

Again a bit stiff but at Subiaco we need some more pace in the wide open spaces.
Smith + Schammer + Bellie = too many short people in the side at once IMO.

Hopefully a much needed 4 points.

I will be surprised if there is not a late change.

Wrong Farrand - I think the team has specifically picked for North Melbourne and CC game plan. There is a lot of pace to this side and we should have a good win.

CC is going to step out and prove you all wrong again.

Well I'm convinced theres something about Gilmore that CC knows that we dont
Touche' might have something with him seeing them everyday

Hoping the midfield rise to the occasion, i would love to see bell grab blokes in the huddle by the scruff o guernsey n yell to them what this game means..some emotive response to fire them up

we need this win to keep it real for the rest of the yr

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFfffarrrmerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 5 goals

A couple weeks ago someone said that, Gilmore drinks to much and spends to much time with the ladies.

I seem to remember Rodney Eade getting rid of Greg Stafford at the Swans because he said he could not play a game to instruction. Although he can take the game by the throat, he got rid of him. I am just guessing here, but Gilmore might be as uncoachable as Stafford was. When he's traded at the end of year, he'll become a superstar elsewhere in my opinion.

Again? I guess you're right, he's proven me wrong when we lost to the Hawks, Brisbane, Essendon, Richmond. May as well add another to the list.

Gilmore, from what I've seen, has pace and has height. The type of player we crave for (Webster hasn't cut it, Dodd is another and surprise surprise another that is a reserve).

I hope you're right Rip, one of these 2 should be in the team and developing for next year, get a bit of height in that midfield.

Love it when people call me wrong. Makes me feel all warm inside.

You can't be serious though? How can half-injured Headland be a specific choice for the Roos? Who is he going to line up on?

Wouldn't Smith have been useful in keeping Simpson or Harvey under wraps?

And what team doesn't need a half-back flanker running up the ground and sending penetrating kicks into the forward line?

You may be right Dwayo, but I find it very hard to believe.

Gilmore has always had a problem getting his nut over the pill. Till he decides he wants to play AFL badly enough that will always be his problem.

As for Smith, I think the match committee keep hoping someone else will do the job he does so he doesn't get a spot. If Carr-Hase-Bell-Cook get their hands on the pill Smith is not needed. Its just they're not getting their hands on the pill. Part of that problem is playing them out of the centre square.

Yeah, but that is a problem some of our other players seem to have as well. Grover, Headland and Polak have all been guilty of this at times. And I correct in saying that Thornton had problems with this last week?

I disagree about Headland and Polak. Grover has got better.

But I agree about "other players. I include Pavlich, Medhurst, Sandi, Schofield, Thornton, Walker, Black, Crowley, Dodd, JLo, Hasleby. Pav is a brilliant player but he does nothing with his size to help out others. I've seen Voss blow Hase away like he was a schoolboy.

We lack sufficient aggression accross the board and why I reckon the injuries don't make any difference. Gilmore adds a bit in attack and not much in defence. If he wants to get a game his opportunity will come through stepping up and being willing to to take a hit.

Dwayo youve blown in, all energy and the positive vibes. We need it around here. Hope your right in your predictions.

We looked a quicker side last week with schammer finding some form. If peake has got the leg speed (i hear about) we might be closer to being the team we could be.

Gees have we missed walker or what ?

The roos have some real experience in their line up and with a junk yard dog for a coach it shapes up to be great game.

You could be right. Another one of of my problems is that these young guys are wasting away in the WAFL, not getting a chance while CC persists with players with names and experience, regardless of how crap they are. How do we know if CC is overlooking someone that could be great, but due to the lack of acknowledgement they can't be bothered.

I mean, Schofield had a lukewarm game in the WAFL yet the next week he got picked up, hasn't played well at all (and I do empathise with the fact that he's coming back from back injury) but surely someone like Gilmore would have been more use.

If I was a young player, and I was witnessing stuff like this, I would be completely disillusioned by CC doing this.

But you're right, we do lack sufficient aggression across the board, and it's a shame Webster didn't offer this when he said he this was what he was all about.
