Thomas loves Craigy

I'd love to see a transcript to see what context he was saying it in. What is it that Craig is doing a great job in? It can't be an overall thing. I hazard a guess that he was saying that Craig is doing a great job handling the pressure of a supporter backlash. Surely he couldn't be talking about anything that is occurring on the field.

It was genuine. It just sounded stupid because at the end of his wrap, he said "hes doing a good job".

On one of Thomas' first shows he was asked about the tone of the coaches meetings. Asked when "which coach talks, all others listen" and the only name he mentioned was Neil Craig, saying he had alot of respect amongst the coaches.

His previous negative attitude towards Craig has been his "scientific" approach, as opposed to an old school style like Thomas (which didnt get him anywhere).

People forget alot of modern football is played the way it is because of the way Craig, Roos and Worsfold developed their teams gamestyles.

The interview was a bit weird he said Eade was under pressure because the dogs have been insipid and don't look like they are playing for him. ( he obviously hasn't watched many of our games.)
Said by all reports the players love Neil and so do the admin (mentioned he didn't have the admin support in his time coaching at the saints)
Said that it's two different issues: how Neil is coaching and whether or not Neil should be sacked. Thomas said just because Neils not coaching well doesn't mean he should get the sack, WTF?
