He is the only real issue I have with Harvey and Co at this stage. Why the **** is he getting a game? He's soft, can't play on an opponent, doesn't like to kick, can't take a contested mark and unable to tackle.

If Thornton was abducted by aliens the club could stick the number 22 jumber on a tall skinny 15 year old albino girl with long hair who can run really fast and no one would notice that he's missing.

I thought his game was slightly improved last week, but sill average. Despite having played defence for most of his career, he's still a liability and relies on the other backmen to pick up his slack - if they are down, injured etc. then he gets shown up.

There's little excuse now. Lets face it, by this time next week we will be 1-11. This season is well and truly over as far the serious stuff is concerned - Head could not possibly be much worse, throw him on and see how he goes. Even if he worse, at least we'll never die wondering.
