He has just pinged a goal from 50 to put the lions within 4 points, clinch moment in the game. He is something very special, and will no doubt push Danger for his half a dozen brownlow wins as time goes on.
I tell you what, Watts, Naitanui, Hill, Hartlett, Hurley and Yarran would all want to turn out to be pretty special players, as most look like doing mind you, because otherwise there would be some pretty searching questions made of the recruiting departments for not picking Rich. Having said that I can understand why he fell and that is that he probably doesn't have a lot of improvement left in him, what you see will be pretty much what you get and quite frankly thats pretty good. It'll be interesting to see how he goes in his second year, with a little more attention, especially when the likes of Black and Power have retired, but gee, to be a KPF at Brisbane with Rich delivering the ball...
