Remember all the posts about us not thrashing any teams last year. We never seemed to do it last year.

By god have things changed!

Essendon - 73 Points
Geelong - 86 Points
West Coast - 100 Points.

We have changed this myth around and have starting to kick the game away and not let the opposition catch up.

Thats only within the last 4 or 5 games also so things look good!

We also beat Richmond by 44points i recall correctly.

I know its not really a thrashing like the others mentioned but still a very handy win - at the end of the day 7 goals is a pretty big win.

I hope we can continue to put sides away like this because percentage may very well come into the equation when September arrives.

I was thinking about adding that in but it is like only 50% of the other scores so i thought not.

Also, can we get Rons and I's merged.

Shows what more accurate kicking does.

Am I the only one that gets a slight feeling of "Geelong '07" right now watching the Pies play? A bit of a dodgy start, but when we win games, we are belting the opposition.

And we are keeping the lid on it. Staying focused. After each goal they play as if they are still behind and attack the footy harder. Kicks have been more effecient and have been very helping in the last couple of teams.
We run and run and never let our head down.

We are simply playing ____ing amazing football! The way we can play our own game is just truly inspirational and so much of a warm feeling towards us supporters.

This is their way of saying thanks.

There's a 1990 ring about it..

^ Haha.

Belting teams means you have a lot of confidence to go on with the game even when its won. Some teams decide to stop at around 30 or 40 points (ala Port).

Nice work Pies.

:thumbsu:Thank you rfctigerarmy. A few big wins not only build confidence in teams and bond players but I believe, just as importantly they sow the seeds of doubt in opposition players. Watching or hearing a pumping of a team like Geelong lets the others know that no matter how well they play Collingwood can match them on their day, it is a little early to be getting carried away, but yes if we can manage our injuries and keep this ruthless frame of mind it should serve us well if we make the finals.
