Could it be right that my membership entitlements (18 game concession membership) have been exhausted already??
I'm looking to buy three tickets with my barcode number, but the ticketeck website won't let me get past that first screen. i often have troubles with this site!
anybody know the status of seats left for tomorrow's game???

cheers.

i think its pretty sold out mate, i got tickets last night and only got level 4 q10. might get standing or general at the game though...

I bloody hope it's not sold out! I couldn't get in last week! I travelled for two hours in the car only to get stuck in a massive traffic jam right outside the ground. I was so close to getting in and then they closed off the parking!:(

There's hope yet!
the website finally decided to work. got three tickets in Q10 Southern Stand, row Y. Not the best angle to watch from, but i'll take it!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune with the parking stuff. Damn MCC!

so im guessing thats jsut about the only stand left for reserved seats as im around the corner!:thumbsu:

We have only had one "technical" sell out all year, and that was ANZAC day.

Tommorrow won't sell out, although car parking might be a problem if it's a wet day as they seem to shut down a lot of the MCG car park if its wet.

I'd expect a crowd in the 80,000 mark tomorrow, I wouldn't expect 90+.

I just tried to buy seats then, and got Q11, row bb, so maybe there will be a "huge" crowd, because BB is a long way back.

If your barcode isn't working, you will have to ring Ticketek in the morning, or try your luck at the ground.

That is the exact reason we've stopped trying to park at the ground in the last couple of years. There's either massive traffic jams, the carparks get closed, or for some inexplicable reason the nearby streets get blocked off and you're faced with an unexpected detour. Survive all that, and you have to deal with thousands of people walking in front of you as you try to drive out. It doesn't help that most of our games have over 60,000 people there.

I park at Federation square these days. The short walk up the river is lovely in comparison.

Up till halfway through this year, we parked under the bridge that leads onto the Monash Fwy, next to the clock and silo, but now that has been taken over also.

I think from now on we will just "train it" in, as much as I hate public transport.:o

Hey guys, Sorry for bumping but didn't want to start a new thread.
I'm looking at getting seats for the Round 22 game.
I have an 18 game membership and my mate is a filthy Essendon supporter.
At the moment, it seems the only seats available are in Q51 (Right up in the nosebleeds).

Surely they haven't sold the rest of the ground out yet? Should I wait a few days and see if they open up some of the ground level or 2nd tier or just bite the bullet and take the binoculars?

Not really sure how the seating allotments work but after paying $350 at the start of the year, I kind of expect better seats... :(

If coming in from the North then Freemasons at 320 Vic Pde is a flat $7.00
but is not open to public on Sundays.

I think this game is going to shock a few people, after all, between the 2 clubs, we have about 110,000 members, so you would expect to get a huge crowd.

I noticed on Ticketek just then that the Olympic Stand is the only area left for seating, as all other areas are listed as "allocation exhausted".

The way seats are released now is;

Level 2 (N)
Level 3 (P) and Level 1 (M) undercover
Level 1(M) Open
Level 4 (Q)

Seems this game has sold a few seats, not too many good ones left.

But if you are unsure, ring Ticketek and ask them, it's sometimes better talking to a real person. (Sometimes:o).

Ticketek dont release all the tickets at once, they just release sections, and then it will say its sold out but what that really means is "The section we have released is sold out and we haven't opened up other sections yet"

Just keep trying, I almost always get a much better ticket the day before the game than I do the week before. It's stupid, I hate the way they do it.

Yup, ticketek are shockers when it comes to releasing tickets. They work by releasing the crap seats first, and will hold onto the good seats till the very end.
