good to hear. nothing worse than being turned away at the gates. especially when work prevents you from going to half the games anyway

MT, I read somewhere (maybe the Etihad Stadium website) that all Richmond 16 game members are guaranteed access, but may have to stand once inside.
This is correct, 16 game members will get in even if it`s a sellout.

I received this email off the club...

"If you are a Richmond 16-game member: make sure you have your 12-digit barcode ready, which can be found on the back of your membership card. By providing this to Ticketmaster, it will ensure that you are only charged for the cost of the seat and not the admission into the game, which you have already paid for via your 16-game membership.
Alternatively, you will be able to use your 16-game membership card on the night to gain access into Etihad Stadium. The club has been informed that even if all the seats are sold, you will still be granted entry and be able to view the game from Etihad's standing room areas."

That makes sense, I'm going with my sister and I could only get individual seats on level 1, no pairs. Ended up getting 2 GA tickets, but will be getting to Etihad around 6.30-7 to make sure we gets seats.

Just spoke to ticketmaster, Level 3 is sold out and there is only single seats on Level 1 & 2.

GA punters I recommend you get there early.
Something is fishy here. I literally just bought 2 seats on level 3.
There's one of two scenarios going on here.

1. The operator has seen that there are no seats available so says that they're sold out when actually they have just sold all those currently allocated to reserved seating. Then further seats were released before tigs bought.

2. Someone who had tickets in their 'shopping basket' has released them, and that's what tigs got.

The third option is that Ticketmaster is a cluster**** of an organisation.

I wouldn't rule out option 3 now that I think about it a little.

Around an hour ago i got two reserve seats beside each other, front row, upper deck.
Last night there were no reserved seating available so it looks like they are releasing some as they go.

Just got a $6 general admin ticket from an AFL member who only has to pay the booking fee. I will be standing in my usual spot. Go Tiges!

I think Etihad tends to allocate rows as opposed to bays for reserved seating.

i.e. instead of bay 8-15 and 33-40 being reserved, they make certain rows (possibly more rows on the wings than behind the goals) reserved.

GA seating will be all over the place, but behind the reserve seating rows.

Just scored two seats row c aisle 34 top deck. pretty lucky

I've read that they're pre-selling the bottom two decks & the first 10 or so rows of the third tier

been having huge issues with the website though

Where did you read that? trying to avoid paying more than I have to for GA tickets and what not.

I say it every time, Ticketmaster website is a joke. Having to refresh a dozen times just to have the ticket options stay up for longer than half a second before they dissapear!

So your saying that if we rock up at 6 and sit down on level 3 row a, theres every chance that someone will come up to us before the game and say these are our seats you have to move?

How are we to know that they were reserved?

Will there be an Etihad dude guarding the seats?

Have been trolling Puntroadend, bigfooty & ticketmaster, read it somewhere. & it definitely makes sense given the seat options that have been coming available

They will have attendants checking tickets and reserved rows are usually marked with something in the aisle from memory.

Reserved seating on Level 3 is Row A-F all around the ground. All seats from Row G further back is general admission (first in, best dressed). Those front six rows will have reserved seat covers/indicators on them, as well as a staff member at every aisle.
