If you remember a couple of rounds ago thr bunnys and the cowboys played on the coast and they only got 2-3 thousand crowd and there was talk saying that the coast wouldnt follow a certain team well i have been to the gosford ground a few times now to see the tigers play and every time they have played there they have got a really good crowd. like last week against the dogs they got nearly 16.000 ppl there and that was the most for the round.

because when the bunnys and the cowboys played both teams dont have much of a following at all let alone on the central coast. I think shouldnt have a coast team because i know the coast wont follow a new team but they will follow a sydney team who moves down. Well when the eagles moved to the coast no one followed them because no one likes them on the coast when someone like the tigers have quite a big following.

What are your thoughts on the coast and who should be there.

2-3 thousand? they got 11 thousand in the Souths game! And they got just below 15 thousand on saturday! Pathetic from the CC!!!!! GC had two capacity crowds for TRIAL GAMES! CC can't get capacity crowds for a representative game and two NRL games (One of the games between two top 8 teams)...

GC for the 16th Team!!!

-The GC trials had cheap and free tickets, i was told by people who went.
-It was the first league matches there in a while.

-There are teams that ARE IN THE NRL that get absolute **** crowds of 8000 at their home games

*SOUTHs (constantly)
*Parramatta
*Canturbury
*St George @ wollongong
*Canberra
*Melbourne (who have a bit of an excuse but is still poor)
*West Tigers @ Cambletown

The CC haven't had these S*ithouse crowd prefomances. And Ticket prices there at the CC are quite steep.

Admit the CC first, then the GC when they have finished stadium construction and tested it fully, maybe the year after.
The point is both the CC and GC deserve a team of their own representing them, and they probably are more viable than some of the clubs that ARE in the NRL.

ummm the GC had regular ticket prices and it was 40+ degrees.

you expect everyone to congratulate the cc after a below average nrl crowd?

Canterbury averaged over 21 THOUSAND last year and are up there again this year! Even thou we play half our games at the worst ground of RL in Australia (The Baseball Sttadium which most people refuse to go too!)... FRee tickets? the Canterbury V St George trial game sold out a week in advance! NO free tickets (Unless u knew RL officials or something)!

How is it below average when the weekly average is around 13000-14000.
People through the Australian Summer sit in the sun all day in 40+ degree heat to watch cricket.
They aren't that magical sitting in it for 80 mins for Football.

Also i'm just goin from what someone told me, who is from the GC and was at the Gold Coast trials. People were handing free tickets out at the gate.

That's great they averaged 21 Thousand BUT........

They still have had the odd poor 8000+ crowds at THEIR OWN ground. They would have made a larger profit from playing at Gosford last weekend too.
Perhaps that is why they chose that ground. When they could have chose a number of others to play at, because of the Showgrounds playing surface. ;)

well actually the nrl is averaging over 15000 this year. The cc is poor and dont want football. The only ones who want the cc are the few footy fans there and bears fans (le rouge)
