Aha - so we may not yet be able to beat them all on the field yet, but dagnamit we are going to be able to out jigsaw them!

Man I've tried to do that 'Puppy Paws' jigsaw... it's a real bitch! Did my head in!
But I do like how our new 'gun' Reece Conca is in the red team and right next to Axel.

No better role model... :thumbsu:

There was no time for a sleep-in for the Richmond travelling crew in New Zealand on the second day of its five-day journey.

The groups were up at the crack of dawn and given suitcases, with the contents revealing instructions on their first destination.

While they made their way to the North Island city of Rotarua, the groups also had a chance to collect more points with a series of mental challenges, including Sudoku and a Rubik’s cube.

Each group was also given the three-day objective of creating a travel video of New Zealand, featuring the places they visited throughout their stay, which will be presented to a panel of judges on the final night of the trip.

At Rotarua, the teams were taught to perform the Haka, the traditional form of dance of the Maori people.

The origins of the dance, and its traditional meanings, were explained by the staff at Haka World, before the groups performed for more points.

With the Haka mastered, the teams headed to Lake Taupo, the city with the largest lake in New Zealand.

Armed with a handful of images, the groups were asked to find a number of locations throughout the city, and replicate the photographs.

By 3pm, the entire travelling party was required at Mt Ruapehu, an active volcano at the southern end of the Taupo Volcanic Zone and the biggest mountain on the North Island.

Watch Daniel Jackson interview Tiger youngsters Brad Helbig and Tom Derickx from Mt Ruapehu.

The players completed a gruelling 10km bike ride up the side of the mountain, before walking to the summit.

After some official presentations, it was time for an early night, and the promise of more non-stop action on day three.

LMAO @ some of those photo's (Dimma looks knackered on the bike!)

& with all of the discussion on other threads re. tatt's perhaps the Mauri facial ink in the photo's should be left on for the whole of next season!

Some of the fair skinned ranga types look a bit lame with the tatt's but Dusty, well it looks like it belongs on him! (He has Mauri blood in him doesn't he? Or is it another Pacific Island?)

Dustin Martin's father was Maori. The tribe he had connections to is tattooed on Martin's neck?

Perhaps the Tigers should invest in New Zealand with the game growing and all.

No videos no photos just a redirection to a pay site our it people are bloody hopeless

RICHMOND will return from its New Zealand training camp satisfied it has fast-tracked potential young leaders as well as enhanced the experiences of its playing list.
The Tigers spent five days locked in several physical and mental challenges across the Tasman.

These ranged from cycling, running, hiking and canoeing to a series of farmyard chores that included chasing rams, chopping wood and putting up electric fences.

Trent Cotchin, the youngest member of the leadership group, said the camp had been a significant team-bonding experience.
