Plenty of contenders this year!

Biggest impact after debut - Strong field with the likes of Lambert, C.Ellis, Menadue, McBean and Hunt all debuting this year for the yellow and black but I think McIntosh takes the honours. Lambert and Hunt both good additions to the 22 though!

Biggest improvement from a fringe player - I'd probably give the nod to Batchelor, wasn't sure if he was best 22 after the end of 2014 but has firmly planted himself in our strongest side. Honourable mentions to Lennon and Lloyd for the second half of 2015 who've also put themselves into the best 22 IMO.

Biggest improvement from an established best 22 player - Got to be Shane Edwards, a shame he missed a chunk of games as he'd just about have got AA selection. Hopefully the break will be a blessing in disguise with a fit and ready Sheds ready to rip it up. Honourable mentions to big Vickery who's really starting to play with confidence, Tigger Vlastuin and Grigg (who might be having a career best season in 2015).

On Jack Dyer night, I expect McIntosh to get most improved and Lambert to get best 1st year player

IMO KMac has had the most impact for a debutant.
Hunt has preformed overs IMO (Im a big fan-highly under rated on Big Footy)
Lambert has also preformed overs. Conca will take his place next year though IMO.

Im looking foward to seeing C.Ellis, Menadue and Drummond fighting to be in the best 22 next year.

since everyone has improved out of sight, its hard to do a list, but based on starting position this time last year to now:

1: K-Mac
2: Sheds
3: Batch
4: Lambert (if he could be considered)
5: Lennon
6: Newman
7: Vick
8: Chaplin
9: Valstuin
10: Grigg

Most improved from what we knew they could do? Has to be KMac, but Lambert

But most improved from borderline AFL > good AFL first 22 Batch, Lennon, Vlas, Griff until injured

From just first 22 > high quality Grimes, Grigg, Chappy (???)

Decent AFL > pretty much A grade Sheds, TV (On current sustained form)

And then we have McBean and Menadue sitting in the VFL. Couple others might make a claim too.

I've got 13 down, and others have some I don't count so much. How good it that!!!!!

It seems the team is finally coming of age. The future looks so bright I have to wear shades

Unlike in previous years where we've only had 2-3 most improved, this season there Are around 10 - 12 most improved players which explains why we are a much better team and a real contender for the big dance.

We should recognise how much Cotchin has improved his game too. Has taken his leadership to a new level and single handedly led the team to victories this year when we've been losing. He's become more physical in contests and imposed himself more as a leader and captain both on and off the field. Thanks Cotch.

I would say that Batch has been most improved while Shedda has been most influential due to him still being a great player last year but just not getting noticed for it. K-mac has been the best newcomer with Lennon and Ellis closely behind. You can't forget that Cotch has taken his game up another notch in the second half of the season and has been in carer best form

Come on!! Sounds like somehow most of our list has improved. Add in CEllis as a valuable contributor, and should be better next year. Conca was getting back to good stuff. We're doing well in development right now. But let's not count Cotch in with KMac. Well OK, let's. Just hope on Sunday it all comes together to = success.

No shame in it: never been a good side where this hasn't been the case. A champion team and all that...

I used to pot Chaplin last year he would have massive brain fades and when the ball came in overhead he always had that deer in the headlights look and was expecting to be defeated by his opponent. He's got a lot more confident this year and has been solid.

In fact our entire defence has improved considerably. Batch Grimes Chaplin Vlastuin and Rance what a line up

Forgetting about the debutants, since they are newbies, Titch gets the nod for me over Batch and Vlas, in that order. Titch has ascended into top gun status about to happen, if he can reproduce in the finals.

This is so great to see a large amount of players stepping up... our depth is now solid. Sadly I can see players like Morris out of favour as the game no longer rewards 'hard ball gets' which is what he is all about. ... with Griffith and Conca due back... we are now finally a genuine top 6 side with no passengers....
