Time for a break. Its been (insert word) day and end of the year. I cant face the next week of media etc so I am done with footy till next season.

I think us supporters need an off-season as much as the players. It probably speaks to me being too emotionally invested in footy but I need something else to focus my spare time and energy on. Even if it is just the cricket, tennis, or finally reading books that I've bought but never read, I'm looking forward to spending time on other areas of my life. And being properly refreshed for the 2019 Season which I'm sure I'll be bouncing off the walls for come February next year.

I'll still post and read about the trades/draft but that will mostly just be me keeping myself up to date. I won't let it dominate my life like the finals has dominated my life for the past month.

Honestly I can remember very few conversations I've had with people the last month where the footy hasn't come up. Looking forward to having other things to talk to people about.

Us supporters will be back better than ever next year. Hopefully the players are too. They honestly all need to get out of the country and relax and make the most of the 8 weeks they have off!
