I think he'd be a great 3rd string forward for us. He's basically a good version of Chucky Gardiner, depends on the price tho.. I reckon maybe a 3rd round, if they don't take that, maybe chuck in a player. Thoughts?

I like the way Boyle plays. Straight swap for X would do the trick I'd say.

no way - id def keep xavier is better then boyle at his best and is in our best 22. i agree boyle would be quite handy we would have to offer something of value and seeing we wont be dealing our draft picks it would have to be a player that the hawks would want. and i dont think we have that unless we are willing to part with a reasonably good player. dont think its worth it.

It's about need. We need another tall forward to help out. We don't need average midfielders. There's already Armo who can't get a game, Birss, countless others. The key to flags is balance and we have too many mids. Bring Cousins in, fair enough, but no more.

Give first round pick if we have to (maybe get their second back). Is young and in a half decent side will develop into a premier FF I feel.

Good version of Charlie Gardiner? No he IS Charlie Gardiner, just more injury prone. People have to learn that not getting a game in a good side doesn't make you a good player. Boyle is a dud and we shouldn't give up anything more than a 4th rounder for him. X for Boyle would be a terrible trade for us.

Tell Hawthorn that St.kilda is willing to trade X.Clarke for Boyle, the Hawks will be jumping for joy and will take the trade immediatley.

He's not that good either brother. Only plays well when the Hawks are well and truly winning. The elimination final against the Crows in 2007 he was barely sighted.

Wouldn't be Boyle's fault, it happens to most of our players sooner or later.

We need to harness the force of Kosi for good instead of evil!
Move him to the back line, -Fevola goes "Crash", or the midfield , Ablett - "Smack", warn our players to stay clear .
