We should play our 3rd best draftee from last year. Has shown what he can do in the VFL.Thoughts?
pretty hard to play him after he had knee surgery during the week.

That's true.

I'm quite happy to play Kennedy and Blackwell for now. They both showed something I thought.

Blackwell looked really comfortable and confident when he had possesion of the ball. I wonder how many weeks it will take to kill his instincts?

If Bower had Knee surgery during the week why is he not listed on the injury list. How good is your info, what is his problem and how long is he supposed to be out for

Agree 100% Funky. Blackwell really looked at home at AFL level, and I really hope they persist with him for the rest of the year. I wrote in another thread that Kennedy really impresses me as well, especially with the way he presents time and time again. He needs to kept in the team for the rest of the year as well.

Hope that when the come back from injury, both Hartlett and Bower get a go as well.

Kennedy's shown great ability to lead at the footy and to take a strong overhead mark. With his monstrous size, he's got the potential to be anything. Hopefully, he'll be the next Hall or Brown. Wouldn't that be handy?!

Would be very handy. I just keep having this vision of Kennedy controlling CHF and Hansen CHB in 4-5 years time. Thoughts?

I wouldn't complain, but I'm on the Gibbs bandwagon. We could use a couple more Mark Murphys out there, and I reckon Gibbs in one.

I've actually been happy with our backline this year. All things considered, they've been quite solid. I reckon we can build a defence around Lance, T-Bird, Carrazzo, and perhaps Walker. Hansen would have excellent support if that's his destined club.

I think if you had the choice between a quality KPP who can play anywhere on the spine, and a quality midfielder, imo, you'd take the KPP. Saying that though, I wouldn't be unhappy to have Gibbs at Carlton. Still, given the choice, i'd take Hansen over Gibbs.
