where can i find out results that the players are currently getting on their time trials and beep tests? aswell as what sort of fitness drills they're doing.

where can i find out results that the players are currently getting on their time trials and beep tests? aswell as what sort of fitness drills they're doing.

Each club would be different in what they are currently doing at training some might not even be doing time trials or beep tests (unlikely as they all need to measure fitness) but if they are not sure they would release the results to the public. Best be is probably via the media or from people who were watching training. They might not have the most accurate details but should be an indicator as to who is looking fit and who isn't.
eg. Perth news tonight (forget which channel) mentioned Dean Solomon is looking very fit 100kg and just did a 14.7 in a beep.

this beep test was done outside at arden street whereas most beep tests are done indoors...the word is this test was a little easier performed at 8 in the morning with no wind and a great surface. still a great time though.
 
I heard Lindsey Gilbee on the radio recently and he said they don’t do beep tests any more. Obviously different clubs do different things but the Dog’s at least appear to have changed some training methods and measurement criteria.
 
what i don't understand is whylubs sometimes don't release this information.

For example i would love to have seen how dean cox's beep test has changed over the years.

I wish every club released info on every players like is done in the draft camp.

i kno wat u mean about the indoor/outdoor theory, tonight at training we had to have a brick in each hand, and do liftin exercises with them for 30min straight with out stoppin and letting go of the brick, and we did it in our changeroom, not fresh air at all especially with 30 guys in the one room it got so bloody hot, would have been better to do it outside lol, (tough coach)
