The girl I had organised a date with last Friday night cancelled last minute because she was too tired from work... bit annoyed, but decided to reschedule for tomorrow night. She actually suggested the night, and so we made plans to meet at her place and go from there. Anyway, message her today to confirm tomorrow is still good, and these are her exact words 'Sorry I didn't know this was still on and I've made plans as it's my birthday week'. Wanted to say get ****ed, but instead told her that's a shit thing to do and a deal breaker for me. Haven't heard back since.

This sort of behaviour is a lot more common than you'd think.
I've had multiple occasions of making firm plans (date, time, location etc.) only to receive 'Can't, busy' or something equally pathetic in response to a courtesy text on the day.
Oh yeah I've moved on, just hate people that are that rude, thinking they've done no wrong.

There's a whole bunch of cyclical scenarios that play out.
Guy makes effort with girl. Girl doesn't appreciate it. Guy stops making effort. Girl complains that guy makes no effort, is boring etc.
Guy dates girl with honourable intentions. Girl ditches guy when something better comes along. Then gets board with him, and the next one... Girl complains about shortage of guys.
Guy moves on to next girl, tries to **** her as soon as possible before she loses interest. Girl complains guys are only interested in sex.
I'm sure MEB will complain that I'm painting girls in a bad light only, but it's still guys that are expected to be the initiators for the most part.
