I almost hate Tippett as much as you guys. He is worse than Scully lol
I'm not sure this is right either. Not every player that won a premiership is a premiership player (if that makes sense - think Shane Ellen). Just because they played and won the flag, does not automatically make them superstars. So there is definitely room to move. We also have to assume that they have the room in their salary cap given they've made this offer. With Kennedy and pyke yet to re-sign, perhaps they've taken that into account? I can't see them trading Kennedy (who just won their b&f), certainly not back to hawthorn where he was given away in the first place.

No they wouldn't tell him to get F---ed . They have no balls, have you ever heard Harper on 5AA , Wuss of the highest order plus clueless maggot when it comes to football , cause if he did have any idea he wouldnt have swapped the F----n Bock compo pick for Tambling. The biggest balls Trigg has ever showed was getting rid of Rendell which is going to F--K up our club"Gentlemen's agreements", are the agreements between gentlemen. Kurt has acted as anything but over this whole saga, so I can't see Trigg and Harper doing anything other than telling him to go **** himself.
Jesse is actually a decent kick. You'd probably want Kurt or Sam Reid delivering the kick.
That's a very good point.Regardless of what fair value is, we should be doing our best to put as many potential irons in the fire.
Remind Kennedy that being unsigned means they don't live him enough.
Tell Jetta it would be fun to have Danger as his wingman next time he sprints.
Explain to Hannebury that he can keep his number 4 guernsey if he comes.
Show Nick Smith how much we've always loved our back pocket players.
They officially started hitting up Tippett 2 days after he put talks on hold till the end of the season. We should have no compunction about putting any seeds of doubt in the minds of as many players as we can, even if they aren't genuine targets. Maybe they become part of a 3 way deal somewhere.
This move has to unsettle some player(s) at Sydney. Did anyone really think Dawes wanted out till last week? I hope this has a domino effect too.
Jenny, I understand what you're saying but I think you miss my point. Its the group that is important here - and the group that wins a premiership generally is very close-knit and wants to stay together - and they can afford to be generous even to their weakest links in that group and even a bit 'bolshie' in their cohesiveness.
Never suggested they are individual superstars (a couple may be) or indeed a superstar group - but gee they are a very good group - IMO the most cohesive and solid in the AFL. And that was their flag winning recipe - it worked brilliantly - and Im amazed that they would risk this 'formula' (for want of a better word) for one of the most, if not the most un-team-focussed, individually oriented players in the AFL. I dont see how he's a 'fit'. Not saying Sydney won't need to make changes as they go along... they will as Goodes et al move towards retirement... but to do it like this with the potential for such group upset amazes me...
Just my musings... happy to disagree![]()
So goodes doesn't need one on his PCL?
OK Just speculation.....
Sydney trade White to Melbourne or Bulldogs for 1st round draft pick, then pass it on with either Parker or Johnson to us. We'll even throw in our 3rd round pick maybe.

If only our coach was taller than 5 foot 9, we might have kept him. Oh wait, HE IS!
Blucher and Tippett are the biggests flogs in football.
What's your sources telling you about our appetite to send him to the PSD?

Issue is White has only played 3 games this year and is only worth a 3rd or 4th rounder
Me likelySending AFGM or Kurt to the PSD?
No chance of Kurt, Adelaide already coming up with plans to involve 3-4 parties in the deal. They dont think they can get a straight deal with Sydney done.
Thats the info i was sent as of 4.30pm today....

They will use Pykes good game in the GF to try and trade him for overs. They no longer need hime with Tippett and Mumford in the ruck. He had one good game but the guy is nothing more than a second ruck. Dont take Pyke whatever the situation Adelaide. they will try and offload him to us for sure. Go for a younger ruck insteadJenny, I understand what you're saying but I think you miss my point.
