Save yourself the trouble

"Unable to go into too much detail..."

Plus this one:
"We look forward to the hearing next Monday and then being able explain directly to you and all our members, sponsors and supporters exactly what happened, why it happened and how it happened."

Dont agree we should have accepted Sydney's pick as it was already smelly, how we didn't accept Brisbanes offer last year is beyond belief. Arrogance, greed and ******* stupidity. Moos.
Dumb article. AFL have already said they were suspicious of the lopsided trade. They would have asked some serious questions. The AFL are said to of been gobsmascked that Adelaide would accept so little for its highest paid player.

We want to tell you, as a Crows’ member, sponsor or supporter, about the most recent developments in the AFL’s investigation into our Club’s contract arrangements with Kurt Tippett.

As you probably are aware, the AFL has laid various charges arising from its investigation. These involve the Club, our CEO Steven Trigg, our General Manager of Football Operations, Phil Harper, former General Manager of Football Operations, John Reid, and Kurt Tippett.

We will explain everything to you as soon as we can. We appear before the AFL Commission on Monday next week to respond to the charges. Out of respect for the AFL process, we are unable to provide comment on these issues until that process is complete.

We can say that we do not accept everything that has been reported in the media.

Throughout the past three years and the recent trading period, it was always the Club’s intention to comply fully with all AFL rules on the draft and player payments.

We look forward to the hearing next Monday and then being able explain directly to you and all our members, sponsors and supporters exactly what happened, why it happened and how it happened.

We thank you for your patience and support. We really appreciate it.

For the benefit of non-members.

The most pertinent sentences are the ones highlighted, particularly the part where it says that the AFC does not accept everything that has been reported in the media.

It had better be good, otherwise we're in deep shit.

Thanks guys...well we wait again until probably Tuesday and another six days of intense speculation and wild rumours. Gonna be 22K by Tuesday night for sure.

To me it suggests there might be more to this than we are guessing about now... And as someone guesstimated some pages back...

Don't forget "Crouch will be eligible to play next year"
