5AA are reporting via trade radio they reckon its 22 only. Noble on after 5pm. Apparently Jesse White failed medical.
 Trade radio are saying likely 3rd party to get deal done ......no such mention of #22 only

If its pick 22, I mean pick 23, I feel embarrased to be a Crows supporter and after such a good year thats a shame.

They have no idea. All they are doing is getting this from Rucci and Terry Wallace's assumptions. They have no new info or sources.

I'd prefer Currie to be honest. Everybody assumes Graham will be on minimum wage, but I have my doubts about that.
Yes but would have to have gambled on getting Currie in the draft ......chances not good he'd be there at a pick we'd want to use

Is there even a Presser on in Sydney?

Yes. Presser was Jude Bolton confirming he will play again next year.

Sydney still have their round two pick (no.42) *or* Jesse White still on the table as their offer. Crows want Swans pick 22 (plus hopefully more).

Given Crows just gave up their pick 40, getting pick 42 might be the best they get.

So who would you rather have...Jesse White at twice the price?? He will be the Jono Griffin type that is just a backup for the main ruckman. All he needs will be 4-5 games a year to rest Sauce.

Where did I say I want Jesse White? I don't ****ing want either of them.

:thumbsu: Hope McKernan gets to play permanent FF in place of Tippett .....IMO he's ready

Jenkins 3rd tall as he's more mobile than McKernan and has a couple of extra tricks ......and train him as a defender backup for Talia/Rutten

IMO can't pay both Smack & JJ forward, Hendo is a fantastic 3rd forward option, speed, endurance, great leg and can take a grab

I would like one of Smack or JJ up forward and the other at CHB, this would push Talia to FB and allow Truck to play a Fletcher like drop off defender role

FAITH, without giving too much away, can you tell us if a the deal is close to being done? Or will it drag on into next week?

5AA just repeated that Wallace believes it's #22 only ........ Bull....t I have been listening to trade radio last 2 hours and nothing such was said ....in fact it was said a 3rd party would have to come in to get the deal done

Clearly Trade Radio had no inkling of what was happening with the Tippett trade .....there's total silence out of the clubs

Jenkins and McKernan are not ruckman! We needed a backup.

Smack is a very good 2nd ruck in the Tippett mould but is not a lead ruck. I hope we rookie Currie if we have the chance as well.
Correct..
We would not want Smack or Jenkins playing ruck all game, and weekly, if it came to that..
Would cause forward line issues too..
There is not a lot around, we needed a big guy as back up.. And of course they're not the greatest going around, that's why they're a back up ruckman..

so many sydney flogs...barrett is a closet swans supporter and a constant crows basher...if I hear another flog say that sydney hold all the cards and the swans are in the perfect position I'm gonna bomb that ****ing radio station....the last caller just said that surely 22 and jessie white is a good deal for us cause swans can get tippett for free.....what a flog...I've no doubt Tiprat will get picked up by someone else in the PSD...so much arrogance by a team that only won the flag cause hawthorn can't kick straight and they had the momentum at the right time of the game....

He failed every section of it and mis-spelled "Crows" on the application

Yeah love Hendo as a Gunston type leading forward :thumbsu:

You could be right about Smack & Jerka .....but your suggestion might make us a bit top heavy in defence

It's going to make for a competitive PS between Jenkins, McKernan, and Graham

Really expecting big things next season from Shaw, Henderson, and Smith

McKernan - FF
Jenkins - CHB
Johnston - 3rd tall forward.

McKernan - FF
Jenkins - CHB
Johnstone - 3rd tall forward.
Johnston still has to prove to me he's tough enough to play well at AFL level .......soft players ( Jericho) can look a million dollars at SANFL level but struggle at AFL

Not saying he won't ....Johnston still has to do it

Think Talia has a lock on CHB .......but would we play Jenkins who's one of the quickest on the list as a 3rd tall to groom him ?

Shaw up to Half back to provide rebound in Smiths role .....Smith to a wing as part of midfield grooming ??

Lewis Johnston is rather criminally underrated on this board. Any other bloke kicking 60 goals in the SANFL would be pants down lap around the table time.
No definitely going in right direction .....but as posted still has to prove himself against stronger/tougher defenders at AFL level

I think Angus Graham for pick 40 is a good get.

He will be turn into a good player - I have confidence in him.

Kurt Tippett for Angus Graham, no way but Graham for pick 40 is about right.

Jericho never looked half the player Johnston has in the SANFL.

Johnston is a victim on how well Walker played this year.

Any other year other than 2012 since 1998 Johnston would have played 10-15 games for the Crows, kicked 30 goals, and right now be hailed as the second coming.

Instead, because he's a poor man's Taylor Walker (keep in mind if a poor man's Taylor Walker can play next to Taylor Walker he's going to be rather good) we barely saw him.
