Seriously, though, if Tippett ends up at Sydney with his 4 million bucks, then he will have the last laugh as he would've have still got what he wanted. Let's face it, most 'poor' little rich kids do, don't they?

From THE AUSTRALIAN (Greg Denham)

I'll sum this one up as;

  • This is the most insignificant publication in the Country & nobody reads this paper anyway especially not for AFL stories, so I'll just cram a lot of stuff put in by other News Limited Journalists and make some really big assumptions that nobody will give 2 shits about anyway.

I wouldn't want to be him. He is enemy no 1 for the rest of his playing days and beyond. Whatever club he goes to a majority of the wider football public see him for what he is...a mercenary who better grow some thick skin if he wants to play next year.

But if he couldn't stand playing in the fishbowl of Adelaide, how the hell is he going to play with the microscope shoved firmly in his face? (was going to say up his ass, but would that be going too far???)

Poor little baby, better go home to Qld so he can have a cry on Daddies shoulder when the mean opposition supporters pick on him

Whilst I really don't like Caro, I have to agree with 90% of her article. However, what I can't believe is how she is defending poor blucher! Protecting a source perhaps? Clearly the guy is dodgy.

He is clearly the source. It doesn't take Einstein to work out if it wasn't us it was him. They are clearly in the Tippet camp on this

She's nothing more than a gossip columnist, same as Hutchy I can't believe anyone takes anything they say seriously!

The Weekend Australian understands that the Crows have hidden from the AFL at least $300,000 in payments to him over the past three years.
The league has already discovered guaranteed payments of $100,000 a season over the length of Tippett's three-year contract from 2009 that were outside the club's salary cap.

WTF?

I'm surprised Tony Tippett allowed his son to go with Toyota and not Adelaide BMW or Solitaire Automotive!

Apparently there was an email on one of the AFC's computers the AFL seized going back between AFC & Velocity....this is transcript of the last one.....

Email from Trigg: "Knock Knock"

Reply1- Blucher: "Who's there?

Reply 2 - Trigg: "Costas"

Reply 3 - Blucher: "Costas who?"

Reply 4-Trigg:"Costas more than he was worth- Prick!"

What I'd love to see happen now is the Tippett camp and Blucher/velocity to turn on each other and sue the living gizzards out of one another. They each deserve it. While we deserve to cop our whack for behaving stupidly, they deserve each other for being pricks. Would be a lovely ending to the Tippett Tale

Quayle said it was definately 200 now it's 300. You would think 300 makes more sense over 3 year but who would know?
It wasn't 3 years. He had a 2 year extension. His contract was to end in 2010 and they extended it to 2012 in 2009. So no, it does not make more sense.

As much as i would like that to be on the ball i just feel that story is a "feel good" piece put up by Graham for our benefit.

I agree. I'm not so sure you can just shrug off all the allegations that have been put forward..

The breaches are all in writing.....

This news piece doesn't really have sound arguments.

Cornes is a contrarian (and in this case a little delusional). If the masses say one thing, he will say another. I hope he's right, but I fear he's not.
