I guess someone in the media finally decided to listen to the Noble interview from 2 weeks ago and realised Crouch counted as a draft selection. Bloody idiots.

Edit: Just listened to Noble, counts as a traded player, whoops.

I think the AFL only decided that today. Emma Quayle was quoting what the AFL had said late last week, and mentioned that both GC and Adelaide might appeal their decision, as they had been led to believe their respective mini-draft signings being upgraded to the main list counted as one of the mandatory list changes. Seems it has been sorted now though.

At the same time if they can afford him why wouldn't they? And I can't understand how they couldn't afford him. They would have front loaded their recruits massively last year and the rest of the team is full of kids. The worst case scenario for them is they trade him in a year and get a decent trade.

IMO they would be mad not to take him. Next stop in the Karma Bus would be a Crows 2013 premiership.That would be the sweetest flag of all time.
