You can get tomato sauce chips. They're delicious!

Yep. Got 'em here in Shanghai. Lays brand too I think. Top stuff!

Sauce in fridge?.... Bleh
My old man had sauce on toast every morning for breakfast. .... only a little bit less bleh.

I know wrong thread; but I can't make my mind where I want Tip to go - GWS or Swans. Part of me still wants him to go to swans to f**k up their vomit 'culture'.

To vaguely get this back on track ...

Here's my hope, for both Adelaide and Melbourne - AFL discourages this by punishing those who did it, not the club (and by extension the supporters).

Three year bans for Trigg, Reid and Blucher and eight weeks for Tippett.

Maybe loss of premiership points and certainly fines. But no loss of draft picks.

I don't understand why we are even being mentioned in the same breath as Melbourne. The media over here is defending the MFC and absolutely flogging the AFC. Our punishment should not be in the same ballpark, not the same hemisphere. And quite frankly i would rather lose picks this year when we have Crouch coming in, than Premiership points.

No, I'd prefer to lose premiership points this year and have it hurt once.

Losing premiership points will have an automatic impact on the club and will be a one off. After that, it's over and we can move on.

The lose of draft pick(s) can potentially produce on going pain for the next 5 to 10 years. Depending on who slides to pick 20, we may miss out on a player who can play 200 games. If we miss out on a Ben Kennedy type player that may slide to pick 20 that could easily impact on us for a number of years.

If we were to play for no premierships it would be interesting to see how they handle the draft. Ie we would obviously finish last, but I'm sure we wouldn't get pick one but where would we be placed in the draft?

Playing for no points is the kind of thing that will break the spirit of the players and the club. We have a top 3 pick is Crouch that will not be taken away from us, Laird would be a top 40 pick if available in this draft - we should just upgrade him. That would give us first and second round quality players in a draft where we are potentially going to lose those picks. My view is it is the best possible year for it to happen to us.

Didn't hurt the Melbourne Storm.

BTW - we have them anyway, so why not add more quality players. Short term pain, long term gain.

Thanks PeterJ. I too have previously stated on multiple occasions that this is an issue of substantive and procedural fairness. I am not going to explain it all yet again. If people don't understand these employment law foundations then I respectfully suggest they do their own research so they do understand. As if they were in Triggs position, given the tenuous evidence at best that we know about, they too would want fair and just process to apply to them. So it should apply to Stephen Trigg as well.

I agree with this. And I'm not having a go at anyof the like poesters here, and I know it has been said many times before, but I hope Matt Rendell is magnanimous toward Stephen Trigg as well.

Sauce sandwiches anyone?

Premiership points is a terrible idea. We may be challenging for a flag next year. We lose premership points and boom there goes that idea. 2014 truck will most likely be gone, Thompson one year closer to gone. Strike now.

And clearly Melbourne should get the more severe penalty.
Not only did they tamper with the draft by losing deliberately they also tampered with betting for thoes games by not trying to win.*

*if proven (let's be honest we know they know and the afl knows it)

Off topic, but still more on topic than the last couple of pages...

Pretty sure I saw Angus Graham out at a bar in Melbourne last night. Should've tried to talk him out of moving to Adelaide....or at least driven my stiletto through his foot :)

Ps homemade tomato chutney is a winner.

I guess any time between 9 am tomorrow and the 19th of November when the next AFL commission meeting is due.
Announcing it in cup and US election week is very little chance. Vlad will want to get as much media coverage as possible, showing that he rules the world. Plus Vlad, Anderson etc are too busy on the piss in the corporate tents. Only thing that is announced this week is bad Government/corporate news that needs hiding. Sorry guys another week's wait but at least it gives you more chance of reaching the 25k mark

I eat meat pies without sauce. Your mind is now blown.

Also,
Let's have a pool:p. How many posts before this thread is locked? Winner gets a Kurt Tippett voodoo doll. Mods inelligible for obvious reasons:). First in, best dressed.
