For a little while perhaps a week ago I entered a "happy place" inregards to all of this crap and had a gut feeling we may come out of this ok - getting a large fine and losing Tippett for nothing - now my "happy place" is a scene from SAW - we are going to be diced up!!

If we lose our draft picks for 2012 & 2013 then around 2016 we are going to struggle, lucky my lads aren't eligible until the 2016 draft and beyond.

I'm still not sure we will be diced up. Two charges. We've cooperated fully. Won't be pretty but I don't think it will be horrendous.

Just shows that we need some better management who don't lose their perspective over one player.
Tex and Skirt are polar opposites. Sydney would be waiting a long time for that partner. Tex would drink their beer then laugh in their faces.
Lockett left for the dollars, but Hall left due to the Saints being able to get priority picks and get Volt and Kossie. Barry saw the writing on the wall.

Players like Tippett are rare commodities. We knew it, so did he. You have to fight to keep commodities like that. What we did was no doubt stupid, but we clearly thought we had no choice. Hindsight tells us with clarity, that we did.

I tend to agree. I know I shouldn't, but I get I get some comfort in the underlying confidence in the comms coming out of the club. Could be false bravado, but it feels like more than that.
