This post can't be lost amongst the trolls. Doesn't sound good. Hardly words of a man who is about to have charges dropped.

Yep Juzzo, I agree. He sounds like he is having a really hard time.

These sorts of investigations can be really hard on people - particularly the delays and if you feel you don't have a case to answer. And even worse in the full glare of national publicity. Hope he's OK.

So then, already your players are divided on this, because clearly some of them do have a problem with him coming there.

And LMAO at play in the TWOs. Yeah right, pay him close to a million dollars and play him in the twos.
in a total playing group there will have to be some that would take issue. Jenny seems to have a pretty reliable source on this and it harder to believe that ALL 40 players are totally fine with it. Culture or not they are still individuals. You would think that Sydney will do their best to sort it out early. If he plays well and kicks goals :p they will probably get over thier issues. It will be interesting if they can retain their squad in the future when there is a salary squeeze.

Yep agreed - and something I think we need to look at too given I think we have a few players contract who we would dearly love to keep all falling due at the same time?

Lets say the boot was on the other foot. Tippett was a swans player and wants to go to the crows. Harper and Trigg sign him up to a lucritive contract. They hand him over to the footy department who try and bring him into the club. They dont think he is adhering to the AFC's culture, so who decision is it where he plays. I can assure you Sando would decide what course of action is taken and where he plays, and his salary would make absoutly no difference to Sando's decision. And Trigg and Harper would dare not interfere.

After what I've read about the Melbourne tanking saga I'm not so sure about that. It's far more likely that those with the power at footy clubs are the same people who sign the cheques.

You know this is the Adelaide board right?

Perhaps you'll find more of what you are looking for on the Sydney board?

Im sure everyone is in a circle holding hands singing "how great are we, look at our culture, nothing could ever destroy it". You'll be much happier over there than out here in reality. Enjoy Kurt! :thumbsu:
Bloods culture only exists when it's convenient to them

don't forget, they had one of the biggest flogs around in nick davis, funnily enough there was no mention of bloods culture while he wa there

i blame brett kirk - "spiritual" w***er

I think it was just a shock having any footy Kulcha at Sydney, that's why they see it as so special.
Dads Army are going to struggle this year!

Well Karmichael Hunt and Izzy F did make it on the field LOL!

I cant understand what is hard to understand. He plays where his form warrants not according to his pay packet. So you are saying that because he was your highest paid player you could not drop him to the SANFL. He had to play for the crows because of his salary?

As for divided, I have spoken to 5 and none have a problem. I'll back my statement.

@.Shotties. - can you also ask Super Sub here when exactly he spoke to these 5 players, and what they said?

Robran was a better footballer than KT in every aspect except physical impact.

KT showed he could dig in and throw his massive frame about - some of what he did in the PF was exceptional.

Robran had sublime skills, a great understanding of the game ... but he never dominated physically.

PS - I'm hopeful that Jenkins, Johnston and McKernan stand up and have a go this year - these three surely include at least one ace waiting to reach his potential. I believe McKernan could become that big power forward that many past Crows players have tried to hold down, but never dominated. That includes KT - MR - IP - BC etc ...
Sorry.. I'm catching up on the last 3 weeks of posting, but I couldn't go past this one without commenting.

In what universe is/was Robran a better footballer than KT? That's one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. Robran's best ever season (1997) netted him a grand total of just 24 goals. Even his miraculous 6 goal haul in the 1998 PF only took his tally for that season to 22 goals for the year. Tippett has kicked a minimum of 31 goals every year, except for his debut season. Tippett averages 1.8 goals to Robran's 0.8. Robran isn't/wasn't fit to tie Tippett's shoelaces.

Then there's the pearler about McKernan. Anyone who suggests that he "could become that big power forward" is ready to have the men in white coats come and take them away to the funny farm, locked up in a straight jacket for their own safety. I was almost PMSL when I read that particular line.

Granted McKernan has not proven much of anything yet but at 22 he's two years younger than Hawkins, who looked about as bad 2 years ago. Bock was another who looked shithouse until he'd played 50 games.

Its still too early to say one way or another if he'll make it.

I don't understand what subpoenaing other third party agreements would achieve?
The question with Tippett isn't whether he had 3rd party agreements, but rather I would have thought the process involved in accessing/agreeing to the contracts.
How would a list of other players agreements assist AFC's defence, unless they were to query the basis on which each of the agreements were entered into?

Mind you even if it were true I think it would be classed as a fishing exercise and given the right to confidentiality I would have thought an argument that there MIGHT be something suss about other agreements would hardly be a basis for a court to grant access to other players 3rd party agreements.

Where the hell did these Sydney trolls come from?

Must be a tag-teaming thing  !

Unfortunately your love child blindness is every bit as irrational as your whipping boys. His stats are comparable to Ian Perrie. That says it all. Tippett may just be the most overrated player in the history of our club.

Instead of digging up stats to support your love child, you could keep an eye on this thread as it has been trolled for 2 days now.
