You actually have to go back to round 14 2002 for the last time we got flogged by 10 goals.

We have never had a 100 point flogging under CC.

2 under Neesham in 4 years and 3 under Drum in 2 1/2.

It was a flogging when you realise it was to a team that was 2-6 at the time, and that subsequently lost its next four games by 28, 22, 46 and 117.

It's tough at the moment of course.

This year reminds me of 1998 where we beat both grand finalists and then had a lot of injuries. Remember Maher (promoted of the rookie list because of injury two games earlier ) & Toia both doing their knees against Adelaide?

We beat the top teams (5 of our seven wins came against top 8 sides) but lost the unloseable ones. Bit of a rollercaoster actually , sound familiar?

The natives got restless then and Gerard was shafted, the worst kept secret was that Drummie was appointed to make us consistant.

He of course succeed at doing that without doubt.

Someone for got to tell him consistantly good.

We then saw our list traded/delisted willy/nilly and were set back years and CC has done the hard yards building a list.
Isn't that one of the things that a Coach is supposed to do?

I am petrified that that will happen again just as we finally get a squad together.

The experience that the young blokes will be getting will set us up for the future even though it is hard to take at the moment.

While it would have been a nice surprise to me to have won today anyone who thinks that we should have walked over the Full strength Roo's today with six players all with less than 10 games each is being unrealistic.

The Tiger's lost one player and got flogged by 60 points.
The Cats lost a few and went down by 69.

We did well even though it was ugly to minimise the damage and indeed if you go and watch the replay could have pinched it with a few different interpertations from the Maggots.

That is all, CC has my support until the end of the year and then I will review it based upon the whole year not going off half-cocked because I am frustrated & dissapointed (and I am).
