After the excitement and natural good vibrations of last nights great win and emotional goodbye to 2 greats of the game - Sheedy & Hird - i began to think about how great us richmond people handled the situation.

How we acted in a humble manner and with respect to the situation that essendon had - we clapped off their retiring greats - our grog squad made positive, affectionate chants about James Hird - and how our supporters stayed till the very end of proceedings to show respect to two essendon greats.

Then today - something just didn't feel right. I went along with my business and tried to ignore it.

but i couldn't - it lingered and lingered - and then i sort of went into this weird dream sequence that took me right back to last night - it was when we had the game won and won - and our great - most loved player - Matty Richardson - took a mark on our center halfback flank.

It was followed by the growing thunder of boo's & hisses - why? because he is OUR champion & he is Matty Richardson.

Which leads me to this

I went last night with 4 essendon supporters after copping lots of flack about loosing to them earlier in the year.

To sit there with all those Essendon supporters having to wait till the end before leaving with there heads down was gold. How many realised the years of pain they have ahead of them it was beuuuuuuuuutiful to watch.

It is not just Essendon supporters that boo Richardson, every other opposition supporter boos him. Last night was magnified because of the crowd (Essendon supporters outnumbered us 2 to 1).Like how the umpires let the key defenders practically murder Richo. The best thing about last night was having some idiot infront of me giving shit to bowden for ****ing up a kick and then hird did it and me and my uncle gave him shit just because everyone gives shit to our players we felt the need to give it back to theirs.

The worst thing about last night was hearing the bombers song as i was walking towards richmond station FFS if you lose you dont get your song played no matter what.
