The Dockers are the most unprofessional club in the league. Only they would delist a 18 year old bloke after one year of a 2yr contract. Talk about messing around with a players career and confidence. You just dont do that.

And to be fair to Toby, I dont think this has anything to do with an off-field incident or anything. The dockers just said they prefered to keep Haines and Webster (both crabs with bung knees).

That might be true however we didnt terminate the contract of a first year rookie to keep Gasper.

And as a teenager, with a lot of hard work it is quite common to put on 5 kgs (even more) in one pre season. Most kids at that age are yet to physically mature anyway.

He was battling, played Ressies most of the year in the 2nd bottom team in the league. As far as I recall first time ever Freo has delisted a youngster after one year, usually the reverse, hang on sometimes too long
